Chapter 22 - Chapter 22

Yoichi turned around and saw Tsunade and he wrote. "Oh, it's Lady Tsunade. Do you need something from me?"

"Tsk, what's wrong with your throat? Do you want me to help you with that?"

Tsunade glanced at the note and clicked her tongue before saying, "Hmm, I see. By the way, Yoichi, I noticed you have quite a few bandages on you. Looks like you have some burns. With enough money, you could recover in just a couple of minutes."

"No need, I'll be fine in a few days. But Lady Tsunade, you've caused me quite a bit of trouble."

"How so? How did I cause you trouble?"

Tsunade immediately crossed her arms, looking displeased. "Are you saying these things because you hold a grudge against me for what happened last time?"

"I only told you about my Lightning Style Chakra Mode ninjutsu, but recently rumors about me abandoning my teammates have been spreading again. It's all because Root wants to obtain my Lightning Style Chakra Mode, so they've been fueling the rumors."

"Also, these injuries of mine were caused by Root shinobi. They came to threaten me, demanding that I hand over my ninjutsu and join Root in order to clear my name of these rumors. Thank you, Lady Tsunade, for your betrayal."

After handing the note to Tsunade, Yoichi turned and left, followed by two members of the security team.

"Related to me?"

Tsunade read what was written on the note and immediately remembered mentioning this matter to the old man. However, she had intended for the old man to investigate, not to act as a spy.

How did this get linked to asking for ninjutsu?

Tsunade had no idea about the spreading rumors. Just the day before, she had lost all her money in a gamble, and today she came to the Konoha Hospital hoping to find a few unsuspecting fools to treat their injuries and earn some medical fees.

She rarely strolled around the streets, so how could she know about rumors spreading? Besides, casinos don't gossip about ninja affairs.

"Danzo is behind this."

Tsunade furrowed her brow, thinking about her impression of Danzo. It seemed like something Danzo would do, but she only told the old man about it, and it was for intelligence confirmation.

"No, why should I take the blame? It's clearly Danzo's doing!"

Tsunade felt annoyed. She left the Konoha Hospital directly and headed towards the Hokage's office. Although she disliked Yoichi, that wicked little brat, why should she take the blame for Danzo?

She didn't even care about the Lightning Style Chakra Mode. Not only was that ninjutsu difficult to master, but it also drew the hatred of the Cloud shinobi.

On the other side,

Masato asked politely, "Yoichi-kun, how are your injuries?"

Yoichi replied, "Nothing serious, I'll go to the Konoha Hospital tomorrow for treatment, and I'll be fine."

"My father learned that Yoichi-kun has awakened the Sharingan to the second tomoe, so he specially asked me to bring you some genjutsu. If you have any questions, you can come to my house anytime."

Masato took out four scrolls and placed them on the table. These were all genjutsu that could be used with the Sharingan. Learning them would be very convenient when facing enemies.

There was a difference between doujutsu genjutsu and ordinary genjutsu. Doujutsu genjutsu was basically impossible to dispel by oneself, so Uchiha had gained a reputation in the ninja world: "One on one, they will escape; two on one, attack from behind."

Encountering an Uchiha with an activated Sharingan, if alone, it was better to run away.

Unless you didn't look into the opponent's eyes, but then you would hardly be able to see the opponent's upper body. How would you fight like that?

"Masato-senpai, please said my thanks to Elder Kenji. I'm grateful for his help."

Yoichi accepted the goodwill of the Elder without hesitation. If Fugaku could also win over clan members like this, there would be no need for factions in the clan, just the clan leader's side.

"Yoichi-kun, rest well. I'll take my leave now. If you need anything, feel free to come to my house or the security team."

Masato nodded and left Yoichi's house.

After everyone left, Yoichi opened the four genjutsu scrolls and started studying them.

One was an insight into the use of the Sharingan, the "Illusion: Genjutsu Binding," "Illusion: Unknowing Fire," and another one without a name, but it required three seals to activate, and there was also a time limit.

This genjutsu was also marked by Kenji himself as not allowed to be used unless it was a matter of life and death!

"Is this Izanagi? Why did the Elder give me this forbidden jutsu?"

Seeing this unnamed genjutsu, Yoichi immediately thought of the forbidden jutsu of the Uchiha clan. The effect and seals were exactly the same as he remembered.

"Is he afraid that I might encounter an accident, so he gave me this forbidden jutsu to save my life? Tsk, Fugaku, can't you learn from this kind of care!"

This forbidden jutsu was said to be untrained by anyone, but it was impossible to think so. Sacrificing one Sharingan in exchange for one's life? The Uchiha clan was not foolish. Important figures in the clan would definitely preserve this forbidden jutsu.

Yoichi put away the four scrolls and prepared to find time to study them slowly.

However, it felt good to have someone backing him up. Regardless of Kenji's intentions or expectations for him, this protection and cultivation were much better than Fugaku's.

On the other side,

Fugaku was once again summoned to the Hokage's office, this time accompanied not only by Hiruzen but also by the other three council elders.

Upon arrival, Fugaku learned that Yoichi had caused trouble again, this time with Root shinobi.

According to Danzo, the Root shinobi wanted to invite Yoichi to investigate the rumor, but Yoichi directly attacked them and injured Danzo's subordinates.

This was already Yoichi's second time attacking fellow village shinobi, which was absolutely unacceptable according to the Will of Fire.

Although Hiruzen's expression was somewhat unpleasant, he still said, "Fugaku, I understand that you are busy with clan matters and also overseeing the security team.

When you're busy, you indeed may not have time to deal with such trivial matters. But I hope you can advise Yoichi. Shinobi from the same village are like family; this kind of behavior is not appropriate."

Danzo immediately expressed his dissatisfaction. "Hiruzen, how can you brush this off? This is an attack on fellow village shinobi."

"Danzo, leave this matter to Fugaku to handle. He is the captain of the security team, so you don't need to worry about it."

"Hiruzen."

Hiruzen put down his pipe and interrupted, "Alright, this matter is settled. Danzo, I am the Hokage!"

"Then why did you call me here? Just to scold me as the assistant Hokage?!"

Danzo's face turned cold, and he tapped his crutch fiercely. "Hiruzen, you will regret this."

After speaking, Danzo left with a cold expression.

Homura and Koharu didn't say much either. They simply said, "Hiruzen, handle this matter yourself," and then left the Hokage's office.

"Fugaku, you may go back first."

"I understand, Hokage-sama. Please rest assured."

Fugaku bowed slightly and assured him before leaving the Hokage Tower.
