A few days passed like water and Xavier was nowhere to be found, no matter how hard they searched. No matter how hard they searched, he was nowhere to be seen. During this time, Xavier had left the city, traveled to a deserted forest, and stayed there for a while. For several days he had been eating only berries and quenching his thirst with the river. Even if he had to force himself to fulfill his needs, it was not enough to break his will. But he tried to endure it on his birthday, Xavier was turning 18. But unfortunately, this did not excite Xavier at all. He was not only not excited about such things, he was not excited about anything, he had lost his joy. He also had something more important than his birthday, like his life was in danger. He was currently being searched by both the state because he was a "fugitive" and by the solar sect because he was an "alchemist". One night, on one of those ordinary, repetitive days, Xavier noticed a hooded figure walking through the woods. As he scrutinized the body from head to toe, his eyes fell on the logo on the hood. Circle within a triangle... this was one of them. One of the Order of the Sun. Xavier went mad when he realized this detail, the fire of anger that had been waiting to awaken inside him for some time flared up. His body trembled slightly. He took a few careful steps towards the man, very sure that his footsteps made no sound. But after these few steps, she stopped moving, thinking it would be more efficient to follow him stealthily. He followed the man silently behind him for several hours, and although he was tempted to attack and finish him off, he kept himself under control and saw the man enter a simple, secluded hangar. Upon seeing the man enter the hangar, Xavier sprang into action and climbed onto the roof of the hangar. Once on the roof without any problems, he peered through a hole in the ceiling. He saw that there were two others inside, like the hooded man he had followed, and three of them were checking the surroundings. It was more efficient than Xavier had thought, instead of one man he could take out three at once. A slight smile appeared on his face with the effect of the bloodshed and he decided to burn the place down. Something strange caught his eye as he stood up and started to draw an amulet on the roof. He focused on it and his brow furrowed slightly, this was because of his confusion. What caught his eye was a girl hiding behind boxes. As Xavier thought about why this woman was hiding and why the men were snooping around, he was confronted with a harsh reality. This truth caused his eyes to widen. This woman was an alchemist. She was cursed. And these members of the Order of the Sun were here to kill her. Xavier's teeth clenched tightly together. He gave up the idea of burning the hangar because he didn't want this person to share his father's fate, he wanted to save the girl. Xavier quickly removed the gloves he used to hide the seals in his hands. At that moment, Xavier's big eyes grew even bigger and his eyes widened. His astonishment was far more powerful, far greater than he had ever realized the cursed woman. Words caught in his throat. In her left hand, on the back of her hand, he saw a completely different seal that shouldn't be there. Xavier had fallen into the unknown while asking himself questions to which he had no answers and had soon pulled himself out of the pit of obscurity, thinking he didn't have much time.
He tried to recall the alchemies he had seen, hoping that this new one might have some effect. It wasn't his father's... It didn't look like Olivia's either... As Xavier searched, the man he had burned to death flashed before his eyes. The new amulet in his left hand was the same as the earth alchemist who had attacked him and tried to kill him. Had he stolen the alchemy of the man he had killed? He carefully examined every part of his right hand, there was no additional talisman. Yes, that was the only explanation. Xavier was stealing the alchemy of the person he had killed. And the Earth Alchemy gave him an idea, an idea to protect the girl, to outwit the men. He had indeed found what he had hoped for. He took out a handmade knife, one of his own, and carefully began to meticulously draw the earth seal on his left hand. Xavier knew he wasn't strong enough to fight three men, but he could save her. He threw the knife through the hole in the ceiling and in synchronization with the stabbing into the earth, he touched his fingertips together, triggering the earth alchemy. The massive earthen pillars revealed themselves in all their splendor when he least expected it. They grew taller, blocking the men's path, and an additional pillar shattered the sturdy wall of the hangar, the part close to the girl. Xavier descended from the roof to guide her down and found her emerging from the hole. The girl, not recognizing Xavier, was frightened and worried. Xavier, however, calmly gestured to the girl and told her to follow him and then started running. Since the girl had no choice, she ran after Xavier. Although the hooded men were delayed by the presence of the giant pillars, they started running after these two people. As Xavier looked around frantically, he noticed a large hole at the base of a tree. He immediately dropped himself into the hole and the girl obligingly settled down next to him. They waited in excited, fearful anticipation. Unfortunately, the men didn't notice them, which was a big disadvantage for them as they were already late and it was nighttime, so they just passed by. Xavier made her wait a few more minutes to make sure, the two of them weren't even breathing. When they were sure, they left. Xavier was in shock, shocked that she had even escaped. And the alchemy of the earth... he couldn't make any sense of the fact that he was stealing the alchemy of the people he had killed, it seemed so absurd. As Xavier was struggling with his thoughts, as usual, he was brought back to himself by her smile and her kind, gentle voice.
"Hello, I'm Rose. Thank you so much. You saved me."
Rose was a striking young woman of 19, an ethereal beauty. Her long, wavy hair fell down her back in pristine white strands, framing her delicate, smooth features. Her 90 cm breasts accentuated her slim waist and shapely legs. It was an image of pure beauty and mesmerized many who looked at her. In this quiet moment, Xavier had the opportunity to study Rose better. Like most people, he was mesmerized, but he didn't show it outwardly, and at Rose's words he interjected,
"You're welcome. I'm Xavier. Nice to meet you, Rose."
During their walk, Xavier and Rose began to share their life stories. Xavier was the first to take the floor and tell the story of what he had been through in the last month, leaving out most of the details. Rose listened attentively, tuning out the noise and focusing only on Xavier. She frowned at what she was hearing, a slight anger rising in her, a sincere reaction.
"These... must be difficult things, Xavier. I'm sorry for you, I don't know what to say, but I know someone who can help you."
Rose said in a comforting tone. Even though there was anger in Rose, she chose not to show it in her voice. Xavier turned his eyes from the road to Rose curiously.
"Help? What kind of help?"
"I know a very powerful alchemist, very powerful. He is my grandfather. In exchange for saving me, I can ask him to train you!" Rose said, smiling and squinting her eyes.
Xavier had not saved Rose for such a favor, but he was not going to refuse. He smiled cheerfully at the offer and spoke in a louder voice.
"I'd be delighted! Honestly... even though I know what I want to do, I don't know what to do. Maybe he can help me."
"And who exactly is your grandfather?"
