CHAPTER 2
My teacher
FIVE YEARS LATER
A boy could be seen running around the king's yard he had a black hair wearing a black attire with long boots This was Leo, A woman could also be seen , from the looks of it, one would call her a teenager but she had lived for decades, she had a blue hair and she was wearing a maid attire, she was trying to stop the kid from running so he won't injure himself .
"Young master please stop running or you'll injure yourself".
"Ha ha ha haa !!" Leo was just laughing while running away with his eyes closed not listening to her .
"Hmph !"
A staff appeared in her hand as she tapped it on the floor .
Suddenly some rope - like plant appeared out of nowhere restraining him on spot as she walked towards Leo steadily.
"Clara that's cheating !" He whined .
But you left me no choice I told you to stop running around else you'll injure yourself besides your training will soon begin she said in a serious tone as her expression changed .
"Okay okay" ,
"Sorry about that"
He said putting his hand at the back of his head.
Clara couldn't help but look at him in a pitiful way , Ever since she's been working as a maid in the Silver's Territory she had always find this boy strange , "Haruto" even the name was strange and what's more was that he treated her and the other maids differently meaning that he didn't look down on them, even the other sons and daughters of the Territory lord will only treat them like slaves but this boy was different, except for his elder sister who also treated her nicely.
"Okay I forgive you", p she said with a sigh.
"Thanks", he said with a big smile.
"So let's get going".
"Alright" !
"Today is the day you meet your teacher she specializes in magic and for 3 years she'll be teaching you everything she knows about magic",
"Great my teacher" . He thought,
"Then what are we waiting for let's get going"
Leo said in a ecstatic tone as he walked to the front".
He could still recall what Roseth (the goddess) said the other day the more he thought about it his left hand formed a fist
"As soon as I'm done with slaying that god I'll be able to live my life" he thought.
As said before this world is different from where Leo came from for basically two reasons, so what are the reasons ?
One : The existence of many upon many races in this world examples are demons, vampires, demi - humans, elves, even angels and so much more
Two : magic
In this world magic is a common way of life for everyone even animals and beasts use magic making it common and when talking about magic, since it's the way of life it's means it's a way to control the elements around them for example Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, Lightning, Light, and Darkness.
This were the major elements so to use magic properly one must have an affinity for one or two elements. Although there are people with mixed affinities but these were not as common as the others.
Right now Clara and Leo were approaching a mansion it was made of ice
Obviously the person who created the mansion had an ice affinity, speaking of affinity the Territory lord had 3 affinities the first was fire, then wind, then water since he had an affinity for both wind and water which brought his special affinity Ice .
Ice couldn't be considered as an affinity since it was the combination of both wind and water so one could only call it a mixed affinity for some strange reason the this affinity was the king's favorite affinity, no wonder why his first and second wife had an ice affinity, Even some of his workers and subordinates had an affinity for ice Clara's an example of that.
As they entered the entrance a lady was seen standing a couple of meters away from them then they both stopped
"Wait here I'll go and meet her, Clara said"
"Uh okay".
Then Clara approached the lady
Leo was curious about how they'll interact so he decided to listen, over these years he had learned a lot about his new body and part of it was that his senses were on another level he could hear from a very far distance so he decided to listen to their chat.
Clara then stopped In front of the lady waiting for the lady to speak first which she did.
"Long time no see"
"It's been a while hasn't it" ? The lady said
"Yes it has big sis" .
"Big sis" ? Leo thought taking note of what she said .
"15 years if I'm not wrong, So how's your work in the mansion been ? The lady said her expression not changing".
"It's been good" Clara answered, "so have you spoken with Lord Silver" ? Clara asked.
"Yeah he said that I should help him train that brat".
"So that's the brat over there" ? .
"Yes , that's young master" .
"Then let's get going, I don't wanna waste precious 3 years so I'll be using the time realm" .
So what is a time realm ?
It's like another dimension created to pass time in other words time runs differently in it for example a year in it is a day outside It is also located in the palace, so since the lady didn't want to waste her time training the so called "brat" she decided to use it.
So now they were both going back to Leo as they stood in front of him Clara spoke,
"Young master meet your teacher Mrs Lydia" .
"She specializes in magic and she'll be teaching you everything she knows about magic".
Leo was excited so with a hearty smile he Introduced himself,
"My name is Haruto !"
"Haruto Silver",
"I hope I learn a lot from you" he said standing upright.
"You've got some manners for a brat you know" .
"Young master I'll be waiting for you at home".
She waved her hand before she turned back and started walking out.
So now it was only remaining Lydia and Leo.
"Follow me she said in a soft tone".
She was now walking inside the mansion
The mansion wasn't any big deal it's just like the inner room of a King made of ice ,
It had a few chairs where people could sit comfortably and a painting of the whole family including Leo's step siblings and mothers. With the canvas made of ice crystals Leo only facepalmed
"Really ? Did he have to go that far with the ice thing ?" Leo thought
Right now Leo was feeling bored that he decided to maybe change the awkward atmosphere
"So Mrs um" ….
Mrs Lydia she corrected him
"Oh right, So Mrs Lydia where are we going" ?
"The time realm".
"The time realm" ?
"Yes"
"So pls can you tell me what the"…..
"No more questions I'll explain later" she interupted him
(Sigh) Leo could only sigh in submission
So after some seconds walk Leo and Lydia reached a hallway there were more than 5 rooms at both sides of the room, each door open to some work space or store or even "pocket dimensions" like the door that Lydia opened.
This is the time realm.
Lydia reached a little door , it was covered with some magical lines so she touched it and it opened
Leo could only see some white infinite space but it was warm
Wow it's awesome Leo said since he was new to this but Lydia came behind him still with the strict attitude
"Don't get distracted"
"Don't forget that you're here to train"
"Yes ma'am Leo said" almost freaking out
"Good now let's start"
"She said with a now calm voice".
