Sederth University
inner campus
Navigating through the undead guards, Long Su finally reached his teacher, Mo Min, who was deeply engrossed in his laboratory work.
"Teacher," Long Su called out, seeking guidance, "Is there an efficient way to obtain a large amount of credits?" He knew his esteemed mentor, an elder-level professor, would have the answers he needed.
Professor Mo Min looked up from his work and chuckled at Long Su's inquiry. "Are the university's credit missions not enough for you?"
"They aren't, Teacher," Long Su admitted, explaining his predicament. "Most missions only provide 20 or 30 credits at best, and I require a more substantial amount."
"Being my student comes with its drawbacks, I see," Mo Min jested, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by his personal students.
"I assume you've already exhausted your credits."
Long Su, growing bolder in his requests, continued, "Teacher, is it possible for you to grant me some low-level buildings or teach me new magic skills?"
Having witnessed the audacity of his own granddaughter and now his own personal student act the same way
Specially Mo Lan, who often shamelessly took advantage of his weaknesses towards her and takes many resources from him
Professor Mo felt it was time to address this growing entitlement activity. "My student, free handouts are not the way to go, even for a teacher like myself. Acquiring spells requires credits, too."
Dejected but not defeated, Long Su persisted, "Would you truly ask for credits from your sole, dedicated personal student?"
With a resolute tone, Mo Min replied, "Knowledge is wealth, Long Su. Extraordinary powers have been mastered and shared among the people for centuries, but the dissemination of knowledge has never come without a price. "
" You are fortunate to have access to the university's resources. After graduation, the cost of attaining such knowledge will only increase."
Continuing to offer guidance, Mo Min added, "Now that you've achieved the beginner soldier level, you can take on various tasks within the school, like assisting in experiments or completing laborious assignments. "
" These will provide you with credits. If you find the process too slow, consider venturing to the academy's conquered city of the new world—there, you'll discover greater opportunities to earn credits."
As Long Su departed from his teacher's laboratory, the initial excitement within him gradually subsided.
He realized that nothing in this world comes without a cost, and if something appears too good to be true, it likely conceals hidden consequences.
For now, his path forward was clear: work diligently for the university to earn the credits necessary for his growth and development.
Long Su first made his way to the school's task hall, searching for potential assignments.
Numerous tasks were available within the university, but they didn't provide a substantial number of credits. Some of the tasks included:
Recruitment of level 3-4 spellcasters to assist in spell experiments, with a reward of 10 credits per month.
Recruitment of five level 3 warriors for the city patrol team, earning 3 credits per month.
Recruitment of five level 3-4 warriors and a level 3-4 priest to assist in drug testing at the laboratory, with a reward of 5-10 credits per month.
Recruitment of ten pharmacist students to help in potion preprocessing and creation, offering 1-3 credits per month.
While these university jobs didn't pose significant risks, the credit earnings were relatively low. On the other hand, tasks in the academy's conquered worlds base offered greater rewards but also came with increased risks.
Students below level 3 were prohibited from accessing other worlds through the passage in the university's base to accept tasks.
The minimum requirement for recruitment was the beginner soldier strength, equivalent to level 3.
Having just attained level 3, Long Su recognized that there was still considerable room for growth before venturing into dangerous assignments.
Despite the need for credits to obtain new spells, he understood the importance of refining his realm and increasing his magic power to enhance his combat capabilities.
"Even if I can't acquire new spells right away, improving my realm will grant me more magic power and flexibility in battle," Long Su reasoned.
"Without strengthening my magic reserves, I'll be vulnerable once my power is depleted after casting a few first-level spells."
Fully aware of the risks involved in obtaining credits, Long Su decided to prioritize enhancing his strength and abilities before embarking on higher-paying tasks.
Upon Long Su's request and under the guidance of his teacher, he took a full month's holiday, choosing to stay in the Qin realm.
Due to the space-time difference between the Qin Empire and Blue Star, three months in the Qin realm equaled to one month in the Blue Star.
This would allow Long Su to spend time with his family and focus on improving his strength.
Not onyl leveling will increase youe strength but practice and weapons knowledge also need to be fully studied
Even though he is a spellcaster but in danger times maybe he need to hold a sowrd to defend himself

Long Su meditated in his room, the maid's voice gently interrupted his concentration.
"Your Highness, it's time for breakfast."
Opening his eyes, Long Su responded in a low voice
"Okay, I'm coming." He changed out of his training clothes and made his way to the grand dining room, where over thirty siblings of various ages sat at the table, arranged from youngest to oldest, with Ying Zheng at the head of the table.
Long Su greeted them, "Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters."
His younger siblings respectfully replied, "Greetings to the eldest prince."
With a sigh, Long Su pleaded, "There's no need for such formalities. We're family. If you continue doing this, I won't share any sweet treats with you again."
Ying Yin Man, Ying Zheng's favorite daughter, boldly stated, "It was Father who gave the order." She feared Long Su's threat of withholding sweets more than disobeying her father.
Long Su playfully responded, "Don't listen to him. He's trying to make me the emperor so he can enjoy his time with his wives."
Ying Zheng, savoring a tomato, casually remarked, "If you know what your father wants, why don't you be a good son and help me manage the empire?"
With a knowing look, Long Su offered, "I will give you another million immortal skeletons, so stop your little games."
Ying Zheng, seemingly oblivious to the conversation, continued to eat.
The younger siblings, acting unaware of the exchange, focused on the feast before them.
The act between royal father and the eldest son became stranger each time they meet but for them this act make them have normal family time was a happy time and unique atmosphere
From the first time he came to the Qin Dynasty, he brought with him all kinds of food like potatoes, tomatoes, green papers, and other food that grows quickly and with a high number of excessive production.
It had been half a year since new, exotic foods had spread throughout the Qin Empire, and the people joyfully celebrated their prosperous kingdom.
Any mention of the old kingdoms vanished, replaced by pride in the Qin Empire.
As the breakfast came to an end, Ying Zheng announced, "General Wang Jian will arrive today to instruct you in the art of wielding a spear, as per your request. "
" Furthermore, Meng Tian and the other two high generals will join us in the evening to share their war experiences and impart valuable tactics."
Long Su gratefully replied, "Thank you, Father."
Seizing the moment, Ying Zheng brought up the subject of marriage once again: "If you truly wish to express your gratitude, find a suitable bride and bless me with grandchildren as soon as possible."
Ying Zheng had grown weary of the constant pressure from top ministers, such as Li Si and Wang Jian, who were eager to arrange marriages with their daughters or even secure positions as concubines for the prince.
And everyone one of them nowadays try to speak goods word's about their daughters all the time
Long Su, on the other hand, speaks with his brothers and acts like he didn't hear his father's words.
