Chereads / Lord : Daqin Necromancer / Chapter 100 - chapter 100 : generous gift

Chapter 100 - chapter 100 : generous gift

General Li Xin stepped forward, his demeanor reflecting both respect and a hint of trepidation.

"Reports back to Your Highness." He cleared his throat before continuing. "Approximately 20 days ago, those who participated in the imortal Blood ritual experienced a strange sensation within their bodies."

" As time passed, we discovered that we could summon skeletal beings forth from our very flesh."

Pausing briefly to gauge Long Su's reaction, the general pressed on. " only the people who hold genrals authority, myself included, found that the skeletons we summoned a unique coloring , my skeleton are obsidian black."

The general cast his gaze upon the black skeletons that now stood at attention, their eerie silence punctuated by the occasional clatter of bone against bone.

Long Su, curiosity piqued by the apparent obedience of these dark creations, decided to test their loyalty. "You there," he called out to one of the black skeletons, "approach me."

The skeleton shuffled forward, its hollow gaze fixed upon Long Su. "Awaiting orders, Master," it intoned, causing a shiver to run down the spines of all present.

Marveling at the responsiveness of these dark-hued creations, Long Su turned his attention back to General Li Xin. ' these unique skeletons possess acceptably intelligence level, the autonomy and strength.'

' i cant see their information now but as long as they can do what i order that enough '

'We must explore the extent of their capabilities in the future but now i need them to fully the test of Professor Mo '

"General Li Xin," he continued, "I entrust you with a crucial task. Assemble a contingent of thirty of these colorful skeletons and present them to me by tomorrow morning."

Li Xin bowed deeply, determination etched upon his features. "Your Highness, I shall not fail you. I vow to gather the required numbers and deliver them unto you with all due haste."

' it look like i lost my dark skeleton, lets visit my brothers and let them share the same feeling '

Unexpectedly, it didn't even take an hour for General Li Xin to collect the talking skull from his men's

Looking at the different colors of skeleton that stood in front of him

"All of you come with me,

As Long Su prepared to depart, he couldn't help but notice the look of mingled pride and sadness upon Li Xin's face.

"Don't worry, General," he reassured the stalwart warrior, "these skeletons shall be placed within the immortal cave for safekeeping. You may reunite with them there when the time is right."

The immortal cave is his seed world, but he uses these words to make it more simple for the people to accept the principle of the portal gate.

Long Su hastened back to his dormitory, a sense of urgency propelling him forward.

Once there, he wasted no time in making his way to the inner campus

his destination—Professor Mo laboratory.

He approached the undead guards with reverence and stated his purpose. "Student Long Su requests an audience with Professor Mo."

The guards, their voices hollow and dispassionate without any feelings, responded in one word, "Granted."

Long Su crossed the threshold, navigating the familiar path to Professor Mo's chamber.

Upon his arrival, he found the esteemed professor engaged in conversation with the Mo sisters, a warmth in their expressions belying the formality of the setting.

"Gretting professor Mo, class monitor Mo lan and Mo Hong, sorry to bother you. "

Professor Mo's gaze settled upon Long Su, his brow furrowed in puzzlement. "Long Su, why have you come at this hour?"

The Mo sisters exchanged glances, their own surprise evident in their eyes, while questioning how their grandfather could be acquainted with this enigmatic student.

Undeterred by the unspoken questions, Long Su bowed in greeting.

"Professor Mo, I have news to share. Your test has been completed. Might I present the results?"

"Let's see your units "

Professor Mo voice was calm

With a moment's pause to summon his courage, Long Su focused his thoughts on his world seed, drawing forth all the intelligent skeletal beings it contained.

Three rows of ten unique and different colors skeletons, all stood in formation behind him.

"Kneel," commanded Long Su, a tremor of anticipation in his voice.

As one, the skeletons obeyed, their voices resonating in eerie unison.

"Awaiting your orders, Master."

Professor Mo, caught in the midst of sipping his tea, could not contain his shock at the spectacle before him.

The liquid escaped his lips in a sudden sputter, his eyes wide with disbelief.

The Mo sisters stared, their expressions mirroring their grandfather's astonishment.

Everyone here konw how hard for the undead skeleton to awakening the independent intelligence

Because of that the majority of skeleton lords will but all theirs energy to cultivation other units and just make the skeleton units as a Cannon fodder

But long su do the opposite

In the silence that followed, it was clear that Long Su had exceeded all expectations, and his future within the academy was about to take a most extraordinary turn.

Professor Mo Min, still seated, found himself overcome with excitement at the extraordinary display before him.

The knowledge that Xia Zhelan had recommended such a promising student filled him with a sense of gratitude, and a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

With an approving nod, Professor Mo Min began to applaud, the sound echoing throughout the chamber.

"Well done, Long Su. Your talent is indeed remarkable and well-suited to further study within the undead system."

He fixed his gaze upon Long Su, a newfound respect evident in his eyes.

"Classmate Long Su, you have excelled in my test. It would be an honor to guide your development. Would you consent to become my student?"

Long Su, his own eyes bright with determination, kneeled before his would-be mentor. "It would be my privilege, Professor."

A look of satisfaction crossed Mo Min's face as he welcomed his new disciple. "Rise, Long Su, and release these skeletons from their duty "

" even though i want to study them but unfortunately iam very far away from the skeleton units and my research focuses in flesh and blood "

"Though I have yet to prepare a suitable gift to mark this apprenticeship, I shall ensure it is bestowed upon you in due time."

As Long Su dismissed his creations, Mo Min outlined his plan for their future lessons. "My schedule is quite demanding these days, so I propose we establish a weekly meeting on Mondays after your normal class time."

"During these meetings, you may present any questions or challenges you encounter, and I shall do my utmost to address them."

Throughout this exchange, the Mo sisters bore witness to the unfolding events, their striking eyes filled with astonishment.

To see their revered grandfather accept a personal student—a rare moment

Professor Mo, his face aglow with pride, gestured for Long Su to join him. "As my official disciple, you are now a member of our family. Come, sit beside me. Allow me to introduce my lovely granddaughters, Mo Lan and Mo Hong."

Mo Lan, her eyes sparkling with mirth, interjected, "No need for introductions, Grandfather. Long Su and I share a class, and we are quite familiar with one another, are we not, classmate su?" Her playful gaze conveyed an unspoken reminder of his previous transgression.

Recalling his use of mental power to scrutinize their belongings, Long Su sought to defuse the tension. "Indeed, we are well acquainted, and as your student, I pledge to protect my senior sisters with my life."

Mo Hong scoffed from her corner. "Who needs your protection?"

Observing the banter between the young people, Professor Mo chuckled. "There is strength in unity, my children. Now, let us set aside our differences and share a meal together."

After a cordial dinner, Long Su bid farewell to the Mo family, but not before Professor Mo presented him with a mysterious, large box. "A token of our apprenticeship ceremony, Long Su. None shall say that Mo Min neglects his personal students."

Bowing deeply, Long Su expressed his gratitude. "Thank you, Teacher. I shall endeavor to make you proud."

As he retired to his dormitory, Long Su's curiosity grew.

Within the box lay two items: a blue ring and a bone staff.

The ring, inert at first, revealed its true nature when Long Su channeled his mental power into it—a rare space ring with a capacity of three cubic meters.

The space bracelet, a coveted accessory among spellcasters, required the elusive dimensional stone, a treasure not found in the Blue Star.

To obtain such a gem, one would have to traverse the boundaries of worlds and rely on a stroke of fortune to guide their path.

Smiling at his good fortune, Long Su placed the ring on his finger.

Then his gaze shifted to the second item nestled within the box—an elegantly crafted bone staff.

As he reached out to claim it, he felt an energy resonating within

 ------------------

Bone Staff

Level 1

Marveling at Professor Mo's generous gift, Long Su recognized the power of the spear of bones.

With a damage output of 20 points, each strike could effortlessly dispatch a level 2 creature.

However, it was the enchantment that truly captivated him—the ability to enhance magic recovery by 10%.

In the heat of battle, the strength and speed of one's magic regeneration could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Reflecting on the unspoken trust and expectation conveyed through these gifts, Long Su vowed to dedicate himself to his training, ensuring he would become a spellcaster worthy of his teacher's investment.
