The day after our peaceful time at Covent Garden, we decided to go to Brighton for a day trip. It wasn't too far away from London on a train, only a little over one hour ride from Kings Cross station.
Brighton was a small city by the sea on the southern end of England, and I've read that it was a popular getaway place for a day trip. It's not so much that we needed to see the sea, considering that it wasn't that long ago we came back from Hina's paradise island. I just wanted to experience, and also Hina to see, the kind of things that she may not have experienced before in England as her previous holidays here were probably all just spent on tourist spots and five-star hotels.
