Chapter 72 - Nonsense

Now that we have secured solid support for our FTAP proposal from politicians, it was time to work on the evaluation committee. This was a much trickier task as the companies submitting the proposals are not allowed to lobby for their proposal to the evaluation committee members directly outside of the actual evaluation session to come. However, at the same time, the list of committee members is given to every participant in the tender so it is transparent to everyone. For example, if the committee included a cousin of Chairman Lee from the Wanda Group, we would know about it and be able to object to it before the proposals actually get reviewed by the said committee, and they could do the same if someone explicitly connected to us were to be appointed as a member of the committee.
