"I pledge on my Class 4 Ability, I shall use it as a force of nonviolence. Please release this power from the confines of limit. I swear in return to use this gun for the greater good."
He pulled the trigger, the key exploded and so did the rifle. This wasn't something safe, as Haseo was laying in a pile of his blood and organs that were filled with pieces of metal.
He was staring at the open sky. His vision dimming, he saw a winged figure approaching. But as they came into sight, his blood loss was starting to be a problem for his sight.
The figure flew above him, she had her arms crossed and was looking at the mess Haseo was in. It was obviously Bird, or maybe it was Haseo hoping it was. If it was a random person with wings, he felt like he might not recover.
Though it seemed like Bird coming could still be bad and cause him to feel horrible…
[User Bird has gifted you Mecha Platform Key. Fusing in process… User has gained Fire Fire: Weapons of Mass Digitization. Setting difficulty to Peaceful Mode.]
…
Haseo opened his eyes and found himself at a computer desk. The timeline was in front of him, he found a fancy rectangle key fob to the side. While not fancy, it was still overkill in design. It could of been smaller, but it was as long as a 12in ruler.
It allowed him to fully digitize himself into a arcade system floating in space. It would allow him to delve into places with a Mecha.
The problem was, it had a lock symbol on it. Maybe it was cause he made it peaceful, it might of made it where he could only use it on certain targets.
It almost felt like he forgot a certain tree girl, but he didn't. In fact, when she saw him turn the rifle up to shoot, she freaked out and jumped onto him. She got her wish as she wasn't saved. Now there are legends of a flat as a board tree girl, selling milkshakes and having all the boys buy it from her milkshake stand.
She was both happy and unhappy. Haseo pretended dealing with her was no longer going to happen, too bad he didn't know about the friend system.
Everyone was special with the bonds they build, calling it friend is simple. Though not to be confused with Friend or something equal in status. The Capitalization is sometimes very important.
…
Class 0 and now Class 4, Haseo only had 3 weapon classes to explore now. His Class 0 let him add people by touch to the Armageddonet and had the powers of time added to it. This now allows him to view the timeline like it was the internet. Though the functions he had access to is limited.
Now his Class 4 weapon has been made. He made a pledge and gained the powers of nonviolence. So the mass destruction that weapons of this class normally causes will be changed to an evolutionary burst in power. He can only pull the trigger if the evolution was 100%.
Now he was going for Weapon Class 3. His customized weapon was a staff. The payload of Class 3 were missles, so he chose to pretend to be a wizard.
While Class 4 weapons could destroy stars and planets, Class 3 weapons were classified as Kingdom destroying class. So the destruction it could accomplish was at the smallest a city block or the biggest a city state.
He looked around him, the place he ended up after entering the Class 3 weapons timeline. He was sitting on a lily pad with the staff in his lap. The lily pad was just big enough to have a little wiggle room in case his legs got tired.
It was empty sea as far as he could see. He used his staff as a paddle. Thanks to the flat circular head of the staff it worked well.
Haseo sucked at paddling, only being able to go off in a random direction while spinning. "I must be cursed, I do the same thing and a different thing happens. This is the opposite of the saying I think. But does that make me sane or the universe crazy?"
His lily pad stopped moving, odd seeing as Haseo was still paddling. Still no successes in any form of movement, he decided he should paddle the other side.
The splash of hitting the water was bigger, which was odd as his staff felt like it hit a rock. Confused he gave it another go, the splash was even bigger and he saw the rock this time. It seemed to have miss growing on it.
Knowing a rock was in place there, he switched back to the other side. Maybe his Lilly pad was caught on some rock or branch on the other side, so he fully slammed his staff on the other side.
"Listen here you as-." This time before the splash happen, Haseo swore he could of heard someone. He decided to stand up on the lily pad. He was very bad at sitting in one place.
The lily pad moved a little, but Haseo stood up perfectly. The outside of the lily pad curved inward, giving the lily pad the odd sensation of a boat.
As he stretched out his arms and back, closing his eyes, he heard a lot of pinging noises. Popping his wrist, he accidentally pressed his finger down on the staff. It felt as if he pushed in a trigger of a game controller.
A few plops of water sounded out causing Haseo to open up his eyes. He was surprised to see missles flying out of the water around him. Off in the distance, there was circles surrounding others who were standing in their own lily pads.
Explosions of water filled the surface as the missles made impact, though there was something that was given Haseo more trouble than a common desk pop.
On one of the missles that was closer to him, he swore he saw someone with a mossy like hair. The scream of that missle sounded like the voice he heard when he was trying to paddle while sitting earlier.
He looked around at the now wavy surface of sea water. He saw there was thousands of people on a minimap he had in the corner of his eye.
This was Wizard Pond Trials, young students who wish to be ranked higher in the wizard tower fought their peers in order to advance to bigger bodies of water and boats.
As they were now, they were in the test proctors pond they built to nurture lotuses. They were restricted to a small part so they wouldn't hurt the important part of the pond garden.
"Hmm, those missles look very violent. So the nonviolence thing was only if I try to drop warheads on fo-."
Haseo wasn't the only one who could launch missles with a wave of a stick, in fact there was currently a pond full of them. Of course the exact number was hard to know, they were obviously shrunken down.
Their current heights were unknown. The lily pads were small, possibly 1cm in width. All Haseo had to know that the missles were real, in a sense the explosions hurt. Though all it did was cause Haseo to lose his lily pad and sink quickly in the water.
The depth he fell was terrifying, holding his breath he tried swimming back up. But hands started to grab him and he felt like it was time to cry. No one could tell if he cried while drowning to death… right?
"Wow you are so cool! Hey, just stop kicking us and breath. Dude, the water isn't like real or anything to us. HEY!"
Haseo ran out of air quickly, his body gave up and he took a deep breath…. And nothing. He was fine. He looked around at all the people holding parts of their bodies in agony.
"You must be a good swimmer, those kicks you were dishing out broke one of my ribs. Anyways, all is forgiven since you didn't mean to."
Haseo felt embarrassed. He thought he was going to drown to death and was just trying to surface. The hands that pulled him, those were just seaweeds in his mind.
The person who spoke up first continued. "Seeing how you were freaking out so badly, I am guessing this is your first time falling in ol' Jones sink. While not on the same level as that scary trench of a locker, this place is just below the water surface."
Pointing up for Haseo to see, the man pointed out a few lily pads that were right above head. "You see, this map for some reason is like the hell circles or something to do with demons and sin. But for now, it is only listed as the depths."
