Chapter 1 - VORX NOVERA

On a chilly December evening, the air buzzed with excitement as the world outside celebrated the holidays. In a wealthy neighborhood, grand mansions stood decorated with sparkling lights, their beauty highlighted by fresh snow. Workers moved quickly, clearing paths and shoveling driveways.

Inside one of the grandest mansions, the living room was filled with lively chatter and energy. A news channel displayed a countdown for the release of the highly awaited Virtual Reality Full Dive game: "VORX NOVERA."

[9:56 PM...]

Away from the festive mood, a young man lay stretched out on a soft couch. His dark green hair fell over a handsome face, and his sharp green eyes hinted at deep thoughts. He glanced at his phone, scrolling through messages, his expression calm and distant.

Finally, he stood up with an air of quiet confidence. The noisy excitement faded behind him as he climbed the wide staircase. At the end of the hall, he stopped in front of a door with a simple nameplate: [Taka].

He opened the door and stepped into his room. It was neat and organized, reflecting a sharp and focused mind. A large bed sat near a window that framed a snowy landscape. A sturdy desk, a tall bookshelf, and a well-arranged wardrobe completed the room. On the desk was a black box with a bold red stripe, its simple design drawing the eye.

Taka walked over, opened the box, and found a sleek bluish-black helmet with a tinted visor. A small button labeled "ON" stood out. Without hesitation, he carried the helmet to his bedside table, placed it carefully, and sat down on the edge of his bed. He put on the helmet and pressed the button.

A soft beep echoed, and the world around him faded to white. Little did the indifferent participant realize that within the serene snowfall, an extraordinary world awaited its quiet awakening, while the outside buzz of excitement became a distant murmur in the background.

Everything turned completely white, and for a moment, there was nothing but stillness. Then, slowly, shapes and colors began to emerge, bringing clarity to the empty space.

Taka found himself standing in a dimly lit garden, the ground covered in a blanket of snow. The air was still and peaceful, with only the sound of soft footsteps breaking the silence.

Nearby, a woman stood quietly. She had black hair and a kind, calm smile. Something about her presence felt welcoming and mysterious at the same time.

As Taka approached, her gentle voice greeted him.

"What name do you carry?"

"Taka," he replied simply, his tone steady and cool.

The woman nodded, studying him with curious eyes.

"You have a sharp mind, always searching for something more," she said thoughtfully. "Perhaps in Vorx Novera, you will find what you seek."

Taka raised an eyebrow, intrigued but still guarded.

"And what would you suggest for someone like me?" he asked, his voice carrying a hint of interest.

The woman smiled knowingly. "Let me decide for you."

She raised her hand, and a glowing display appeared in the air. A list of classes shimmered before him:

Melee Classes:

Knight: A strong defender in heavy armor, skilled in close combat.

Assassin: A sneaky fighter, quick and deadly with precision strikes.

Warrior: A well-rounded fighter, good at both attacking and defending.

Monk: A martial artist who blends strength and discipline.

Ranged Classes:

Support Classes:

Healer: A specialist in healing wounds and helping allies.

Cleric: A mix of fighter and healer, using holy magic.

Specialized Classes:

Summoner: A conjurer who brings creatures to fight by their side.

Alchemist: An expert in potions and chemicals, changing the flow of battle.

The woman studied the list, her fingers gliding over the options. Finally, she selected Warrior. A glowing orb appeared, pulsing softly before turning into a medallion with the Warrior symbol and Taka's name on it.

"The Warrior's path suits you," she said, her voice calm but certain. The medallion floated between them, glowing faintly. "Do you accept this role?"

Taka stared at the medallion for a moment, then nodded. "Yes."

The medallion drifted into his hand, its smooth surface cool to the touch. As his fingers closed around it, words appeared in front of him:

[YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE CLASS: WARRIOR.]

The woman smiled as a glowing portal appeared nearby.

"Brave Warrior, your journey begins now. May Vorx Novera guide your path."

Without hesitation, Taka stepped toward the portal, his face calm but his mind alive with thoughts of the adventure ahead.

As he crossed into the portal, the world outside remained unaware. Hidden within the falling snow and the crackling festive cheer, Vorx Novera stirred to life. An extraordinary realm awaited its awakening, ready to weave new stories and transform quiet participants into legends.

"Until we meet again," the woman said softly, her voice fading as Taka disappeared into the swirling light.

And so, his story in Vorx Novera began.
