Kilr was slumped on the ground with his right hand pressed to his chest.
BA-----------THUMP!
His heartbeat slowed down greatly and would take a minute before it beat again.
Yes Kilr had died but at the last second.

"Thank God!" He closed his eyes and tried to recovered from the near death experience. "Talk about a saving grace!"
A few minutes passed before he recovered a portion of his HP. Kilr sat up straight and looked at the armoured knight corpse he had been trying to summon. He put his hand over it's headed and initiated the summon.
Black smoke sizzled from his hand and devoured the armoured knight.
