Just after the war with Phantom Lord, a few days passed.
"Lucy, there's a carriage here for you" Mira called out
"Huh, carriage" Lucy was just about to go to a quest with the supposed strongest team of Fairy Tail.
Well, it looks like what goes around comes around. Lucy came face to face with the butler of her mansion who came here to relay that her mother and her father wanted to meet her and her team and if she denies the request, she will have to face her punishment for running away in front of all of Magnolia instead.
That put breaks on Lucy's plan on running away on a quest for a few days. And she reluctantly got in on the carriage with Gray, Natsu, Erza and Happy. Because of the rise in technology brought by the companies of Heartfilia which had risen even more by the intervention of Layla who was alive in this timeline, the carriage in which they travelled in was able to quickly move towards their destination within a few hours.
"Oh my god, I'm almost there" Lucy was shaking with fear about meeting her parents as recently her identity had brought a war upon their guild. She was sure that her parents found out about it and so was extremely worried about what she will face when she meets them.
"Blehhhhhh" Natsu was vomiting due to motion sickness while Happy and Gray were making sure that his head was always outside the carriage so that he does not dirty the inside which looked like it costs more than what would take to rebuild the entire guild.
"Be calm Lucy, I'm pretty sure your parents must be worried about you. So, it's better if you remove that worried expression from your face by the time we reach the residence of your family" Erza advised kindly seeing the worried expression on Lucy's face.
"well, we already passed on to my residence after that mountain Erza" Lucy replied off handedly not even knowing what she just said.
Gray exe stopped working
Happy exe stopped working
Erza exe stopped working
Natsu exe still vomiting
"The sky's looking really green" Erza commended in a melancholic manner
"OH my God, we lost Erza people, the rich girl managed to take down Erza with a simple reply that she was not even focussing on" Happy began to give his commentary in shock
"Can't believe she is the same girl who gets tensed up every time the due date of rent comes along at the end of the month" Gray mutters seeing the drastic difference of Lucy when it comes to monetary values
"Young miss, we have reached the mansion" the driver informed Lucy and the others.
"Whoa Lucy you gotta big mansion" Happy exclaimed seeing everything around him.
While the other members were looking around, Lucy's sights were on a woman standing on the steps of the mansion with a maid standing behind her.
"Mom" Lucy said gently and began to walk forward expecting to be punished "Sorry Abou-"
But Layla did not let her finish and hugged her tightly
"Its alright I'm just glad you're safe" she said while hugging her tightly.
The rest of her members did not know what to do in the situation and stood there awkwardly.
After a few minutes
"I don't know how to thank you for everything that you did for my daughter in the time of her crisis and sorry about the difficulties your guild faced due to our Lucy" Layla sat down on the living room with everyone and thanked everyone for what they did
"She was a part of our guild, so it was our duty to do it" Erza replied with a smile
"THhaffs rriigfht" Natsu replied with his mouth stuffed with the food on the table
"Swallow before you talk idiot" Lucy scolded Natsu seeing how he was behaving
"But itfs tastes ds really good"
"still eat a bit slowly, sigh" Lucy brought water to him while sighing
"Sorry about our Natsu" Erza apologised
"Oh, don't worry about it, growing kids their age is a bit wild"
Layla watched their interaction with a smile.
'so, this is Natsu huh, Anna was right about him being an innocent child. And Lucy seems to have taken upon herself to take care of him already'
Celestial wizards are those who are experts at creating bonds with the spirits they contract with; therefore, an excellent celestial wizard is easily able to see the bonds between people as well. She was able to clearly see the bonds between Lucy and her friends being strong and at the same time see that Lucy has a stronger impression on Natsu as well.
'But looking at Natsu' Layla sighed on the inside 'for now we can ignore the path his father and his brother has put him through. But Lucy will have to work a lot harder because of his innocence'
'But that's something fun that she will have to do in her life' Layla smiled as she knew the chances of her having a harder life like in the other world has been reduced by a lot. Even if the problems told by Anna are still there, she knew that Karna the boy she met years ago had the knowledge of the future, therefore must have planned ahead for everything. But she felt like pushing them a bit for the future.
"Natsu can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, you're Lucy's mom right sure" Natsu said finally finished eating
"Have you ever heard of the name Anna Heartfilia"
Inside Natsu's Body
"Its not the time woman, its better for him to grow on his own for sometime before it" Igneel growled
"They are already in the Radar of Zeref, Igneel, you saw how helpless that child was in front of them, even if that child has the power to battle Acknalogia, we can't put everything on his shoulders alone. I think its time for pushing the Dragonslayers a little more" Grandine commented, and all the other Dragons agreed with her.
A/N- well finally reached the hundred-chapter milestone. Can't deny that this does not seem like something for a 100th chapter. But I was not actually planning on it and when I was looking today, it already reached 100. Well, I had a lot of reviews and comments about my book and they all are welcome even more.
Now the question about Harem or not. I had decided to not put harem in it but a lot of readers had wanted one. So, I put ambiguous scenes here and there.
