And when you become s class your speed can't been seen by the eyes of others if they are weak and at that stage not only every second but also every millisecond counts , so this explosion elemental arrow will greatly reduce the amount of time he takes to conjure arrows during extreme battles plus he will also be able to make other combinations as he does not have to rely on heat for creating explosions.
The council had decided on calling an elite team to face the drakons in the redwood forest. Seeing as the location is in a forest where there are many s class threats the council will not be able to send their army so a team of s class wizards were added
They each were given a target as depended upon the intel brought by Karna and Cana
Karna looked at the team of members the council had called , he recognized them from the information he had collected in his career throughout the years but the most recognizable ones were Gildarts and a young Jura
Both Cana and Karna went towards Gildarts to meet him
"It seems like both of you had a lot of fun while I was not there" Gildarts said while grinning
I was also able to feel a bit of hostility towards me in that grin
Ever since I started dating Cana even though Gildarts accepted it a bit he was still grumpy about it and anytime I had training with Gildarts it ended with extra bruises and him laughing like an age old villain in the end.
"so kid want to go a few rounds before we go" Gildarts asked while grasping his fist tightly his aura of crush magic began to leak making almost everyone in the room look towards him

Thankfully Cana was here , she started scolding Gildarts for trying to start a fight with Karna while an important mission was about to happen
The other wizards started laughing a bit seeing the way Gildarts is being scolded as a fairy tail member and the character of being a playboy and a drunk even though he has not made that many enemies everyone wanted to beat the crap out of him at least once
They were enjoying the show pretty well when suddenly Cana turned around and asked
"what the hell do you all think is funny here" damn her expression almost rivals Porlyosika's which shut the mouth of every S class wizard with a few of them shaking their heads

Suddenly the door opened and the Wolfheim came inside the door
"thankyou all for coming in this short notice since Warrod is busy with other important task I will explain the matters to you"
Huh looks like Warrod is not slacking off after all the information I told him
Wolfheim explained all the details of the Drakons to the wizards. Even if the information seemed outlandish the wizards believed it because it was told to them by one of the gods of Ishgar.
If it was told to them by a council member they will not have believed it as they know that the council are always planning different ways to close down their guilds but this is not the case when it comes to the four members regarded as the gods of Ishgar because for them if they fell like a Guild is a nuisance , they can wipe it out themselves .
From then on there was nothing more to be said the S class members were professionals in their own right knowing the seriousness of what they are about to face they stated preparing their major target was to disrupt the ritual on the day 7 august 777 which is the time when the world is filled with the highest level of Ethernano
According to what we can infer from what the Drakons said they need the ethernano level to be in the highest to activate the portal so stopping the ritual on that day will lead to the succeeding of the quest which might lead to the Drakons fleeing and waiting for many centuries for the amount of magic to reach that level
So taking care of the Drakons is a secondary matter as they knew their physiology is similar to Dragons and having information from the council archives allowed them to know that similar to the concept of dragon powers required to kill dragons the chances of Drakon powers required to kill Drakons might also be needed but to this day there has never been any reports of Drakon slayers or Drakon slayer magic
"this is a great duty you are doing for your fellow comrades and the people of Ishgar , as long as I am alive I will never forget your sacrifice" Wolfheim was giving his speech while thinking that most wizards will only be able to delay the Drakons while destroying the ritual ground and the chances of death were very high , the wizards listening to this were
Karna felt a bit embarrassed about what he was about to do . he raised his hand.
Everybody looked at him from across the room seeing his raised hand even Wolfheim stopped his speech
"well this is not a classroom to raise your hand to talk , but still anyway since you did what do you want to talk about" Wolfheim asked
"well when I was in the presence of the Drakons and when I felt its aura , I was able to memorise the type of magic signature and" Karna started speaking
'It cannot be' Wolfheim had an idea about what he was about to say but he was shocked by it 'even if he is the descendent of that genius , this is a level that far surpasses her'

The earlier system reward of Drakon slayer fragment is what will allow him to grant others Drakon slaying powers temporarily while right now he is saying that he created the magic on his own and hoping that they believe his intellect to be higher rather than finding about the system.
He has no idea what kind of image he had created for himself in front of these people
