Kai sighed in frustration.
Why was it that the universe didn't allow him to talk to Lina? Was the deity of romance in a bad mood or something?
However, he also wanted to speak with Chunlei, so he crossed his arms and stayed rooted in his spot.
"What are you talking about?" Kai asked.
"Scary," Chunlei said, his smirk widening.
Kai clicked his tongue. "Look, if you don't have anything important to say, then I'm going to leave."
Chunlei chuckled and placed his hand on Kai's shoulder.
"Geez," he said. "You're on edge today. I thought you'd be happier for someone who just won against the second-best team in the entire city."
A small smirk graced Kai's lips.
"Well, if you put it that way," he muttered.
"Anyway," Kai said, clearing his throat. "Why am I scary? I've already gotten a haircut."
Chunlei shrugged. "It's not your appearance. It's your skills."
