The whole town buzzed with excitement as people gathered to catch a glimpse of the Enforcer-Rank Hunter. It felt like a celebration in the streets.

Gavin said, "Rowen, let's go. It's time. They should be coming back now."

Everyone gathered at the front gate of Aurora Vale to witness the arrival of the Enforcer-Rank Hunter, leading a team of five Vanguard-Rank members, who had successfully hunted down the Legendary-Rank Monster that had attacked the city a month ago.

Gavin and his wife, Elara, are also going with Rowen to the front gate to witness the arrival of the Enforcer-Rank Hunter and celebrate the victory together.

As they reached the front gate, a hushed anticipation filled the air. Moments later, the Enforcer-Rank Hunter emerge, who are accompanied by a triumphant procession.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, celebrating the heroic victory over the Legendary-Rank Monster. Gavin, Elara, and Rowen watched with pride and relief, grateful for the Hunter's bravery in protecting their city.

They are carrying the body of the Legendary-Rank monster with them in a large procession, showcasing the immense size and power of the creature they defeated. The sight of the monster's lifeless form serves as a stark reminder of the danger it posed to Aurora Vale and the skill of the Hunter who vanquished it.

As the procession passed by, Gavin, Elara, and Rowen followed closely, eager to get a closer look at the fallen beast. Despite its imposing size, the monster now appeared vulnerable and defeated. The team of Hunters, led by a Enforcer-Rank Hunter, carried themselves with an air of confidence and respect.

Gavin, Elara, and Rowen stood among the crowd, feeling a sense of pride and gratitude for their city's resilience.

As the procession continued, the city streets became lined with cheering residents, all eager to catch a glimpse of the victorious Hunters and the defeated monster.

Banners waved in the breeze, and children perched on their parents' shoulders to get a better view. Gavin, Elara, and Rowen followed alongside, feeling a swell of pride in their community's resilience and the Hunters' courage.

Upon reaching the city square, the Hunters were greeted with a grand ceremony, where the branch manager of Nexus of Destiny thanked them for their bravery and presented them with awards of honor.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, showing their appreciation for the Hunters' dedication to protecting the city. After that a celebration is held.Gavin, Elara, Rowen and the whole city joined in the celebration, feeling grateful for the safety and security that the Hunters had brought to Aurora Vale.

As the festival unfolded and joyous celebrations filled the air, Rowen's mind drifted to thoughts of strength and power. Amidst the revelry, he couldn't shake the desire to become as formidable as the Hunters who had just returned victorious.

Rowen approached the Hunters, with a determined expression on his face, eager to learn from their expertise. "Excuse me," he began, "I have some questions about how I can also become as strong and skilled as you all."

The team captain, who was an Enforcer-Rank Hunter, turned to see who had approached them in middle of the celebration.

Rowen eagerly inquired about their adventures, his eyes shining with excitement. "Could you tell me about some of your most memorable missions and the challenges you faced?" he asked, eager to learn from their experiences and gain insights into what it truly meant to be a skilled Hunter like them.

Captain Morwyn introduced himself, his voice carrying a tone of authority tempered with warmth. "I am Morwyn Throne," he began, "and what is your name, young one?" he inquired, curious to learn more about the eager aspirant standing before him.

Rowen met Morwyn's gaze with determination. "My name is Rowen," he replied, a sense of resolve evident in his voice. "I'm eager to learn from you and your team, Captain Morwyn."

Captain Morwyn began recounting tales of their most thrilling adventures, painting vivid pictures of battles against formidable monsters and daring rescues in treacherous terrain.

Rowen listened intently, hanging on every word as he absorbed the wisdom and experience shared by the seasoned Hunter. With each story, his determination to follow in Morwyn's footsteps only grew stronger, fueled by the excitement of the adventures that awaited him on his own path to becoming a Hunter.

Morwyn spoke, his eyes briefly flickered towards the mysterious locket hanging around Rowen's neck. There was a subtle shift in his expression, a glint of recognition that hinted at the locket's significance.

Morwyn's tone shifted slightly as he asked Rowen about the locket, a hint of suspicion coloring his words. "Where did you get this locket from?" he inquired, his curiosity tinged with a touch of skepticism. As a seasoned Hunter, he couldn't help but wonder how a boy who was not even an Novice-Hunter had come into possession of such a significant item.

Rowen hesitated for a moment, sensing the shift in Morwyn's tone. Unsure of how much to reveal, he chose his words carefully. "I inherited it from my family," he replied cautiously, hoping to deflect any further suspicion.

Morwyn softened his tone slightly, realizing the potential sensitivity of the situation. "Family? Can you tell me which family you belong to?" he asked gently, attempting to ease any tension. "I belong to the Throne family. Perhaps we are familiar with your family," he added, hoping to establish a connection and put Rowen at ease.Rowen paused, weighing his options carefully. He knew revealing his family's name could potentially lead to more questions and scrutiny.

However, sensing Morwyn's attempt to diffuse the situation, he decided to trust him. "I come from the Ashwood family," Rowen replied, his voice steady but cautious. "Though we may not be as well-known as the Throne family," he added with a hint of self-deprecation.

Morwyn's brows furrowed slightly as he heard the name "Ashwood," unable to recall any notable connections. However, he maintained his composure, realizing that there was still a possibility that Rowen's family held influence or connections unknown to him or his family.

"Ah, the Ashwood family," he responded evenly, masking his uncertainty with a polite nod. "A name with potential significance indeed." With a subtle shift in conversation, Morwyn tactfully redirected their discussion, eager to avoid any further discomfort for Rowen.

"Thank you for sharing your experiences with me," Rowen said graciously, breaking the moment before Morwyn could inquire further. "I shall take my leave now." With a respectful nod, Rowen turned to depart, leaving Morwyn to ponder the mysteries surrounding the enigmatic locket and the young aspirant who carried it.

Morwyn pondered the situation, weighing the potential risks and uncertainties. If Rowen's words were true, then delving further into the matter could risk causing unnecessary tension or discomfort for him and his family. However, if there was more to the story than Rowen had revealed or lied, ignoring it could lead to missed opportunities, which will be a great loss.

After a moment of contemplation, Morwyn decided to trust his instincts and on the side of caution. For now, he would refrain from probing further into Rowen's background, choosing instead to focus on the tasks at hand.

As Morwyn continued with his duties, the image of the mysterious locket lingered in his mind like an elusive puzzle waiting to be solved. Its majestic aura sparked memories of a similar item he had seen only once before - a Divine Rank artifact that is his father's most cherished possession.

The thought sent a shiver down Morwyn's spine. If Rowen's locket held even a fraction of the power and significance of his father's artifact, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to possess such a priceless item. And if it surpassed even that, Morwyn couldn't fathom the possibilities.

With a newfound determination, Morwyn resolved to delve deeper into the enigma of the locket, driven by the tantalizing promise of what he might discover. He was ready to take any risk necessary to get his hands on that locket.

And so, as the day drew to a close and the city settled into a peaceful slumber, Morwyn's thoughts remained consumed by the allure of the mysterious artifact and the untold power it might hold.

He started investigating every little thing about Rowen and what he do in his daily or routine.

He began investigating every aspect of Rowen's daily routine, meticulously examining his activities and interactions for any clues about the origin and significance of the mysterious locket or his family.

Despite his thorough investigation, Morwyn found nothing out of the ordinary in Rowen's daily life.It became evident that Rowen lived a simple existence, training alongside Gavin, who was a Hunter, while Elara managed their household.

Rowen's disciplined routine only solidified Morwyn's suspicions that Rowen had lied about his family background. With this realization, Morwyn's decisions became clearer.

Now, armed with the knowledge that Rowen had deceived him about his family background, Morwyn felt a renewed sense of determination. He was now more than ever resolved to obtain that locket by any means necessary.
