As the alarm silenced, he rose from his bed, stretching the stiffness from his limbs. A brisk shower refreshed him, followed by the familiar routine of dressing and packing his belongings into his suitcase. Amidst the mundane tasks, a soft knock on his door interrupted his thoughts.
Opening the door, Dorian greeted Darius with a smile. "Hey."
"Hey. I was worried you might be over in Damian's quarters," Darius admitted with a hint of concern.
Dorian reassured him, "He's swamped with work."
