Ozias took a step to the side. Next to step forward was a wisp of a girl. She seemed like she floated forward rather than walk. Her hair was jet black and both her eyes were like twin chasms. They sucked you into them. Almost as if she was looking at your soul and not you.
"Good evening Damien, you can call me Cassia." She smiled sweetly with her small lips. Everything about the girl seemed dainty, her skin like that of porcelain making her appear dollish, it was cute but very lightly unnerving. She leaned down very close to Damien "be careful young Damien, there are those outside this home who would take advantage of what you have to offer." Her whisper so quiet that only his ear caught it. His eyes widened very slightly, and he cooed to her words.
"I wonder what she could mean. Does she know, or does she tell everyone here the same thing?" Damien pondered. Cassia curtsied and seemingly floated to the side as the next two stepped forward. They looked about ten years of age. Very clearly they were twins. Despite being of the opposite sex. They held hands and practically pranced up to Damien.
The both had heterochromia a silver eye on the left and a gold eye on the right for the boy. With the opposite applied to the girl. Both their hair was like liquid copper long strands cascading down their shoulders. Their high cheek bones made them look noble despite their young age of about ten years. " Good evening little guy" they said in unison. He could feel their energy as they approached him. "I'm Rowan" the boy said. "And this..."
"Is Asteris" the girl finished without missing a beat. They both reached down and touched one cheek each. He felt a tiny buzz and they giggled before moving to the side.
The next was a young boy who looked to be around eight. He had a small frame, but it looked like he was built for killing. His eyes were gray and full of anger. They softened somewhat when looking at Damien. His long red hair was pulled up into a ponytail. Most likely to keep it out of his face. He walked up rolling a coin along his knuckles. It drew Damien's attention mesmerizing him. When all of a sudden it disappeared. "Flynn's the name little one. Ah, you have something." He said his other hand behind Damiens ear. "Behind your ear." He produced his hand in front of Damien with the same coin he had been rolling in his other hand. Damien reached up to try and grab the coin, Flynn chuckled and let it go so Damien could hold it, the he moved aside.
"Hi Damien, my name is Rhea." A girl of about seven was cross legged and levitating in the air as she spoke to him. She had amber eyes and shoulder length violet hair, her eyes were glowing and she hovered close to Damien. She had a slightly upturned button nose. She was chubby, but not overly so. Her cheeks had a rosy tint to them as she planted a kiss on his forehead while practically floating upside down. She chose to just move herself closer to the ceiling to let the next person introduce themselves.
Last, but certainly not least was a small boy. His face was bruised and battered. His eyes were fully white, yet he didn't seem blind in the least. His hair glinted in a strange way and you could never fully tell what color it was almost as if it was reflecting instead of having its own pigment. It stayed up as well as if he was underwater flowing softly around his scalp. He was around five years old. He limped up to Damien a pained smile gracing his face. "Hello Damien, I go by Jasper" his voice carried a maturity far beyond the age of his face. Most likely because of past traumas. He stepped forward and appeared right in front of Damien. "I hope that you're going to like everyone. They're all wonderful people." He then took a step back and was in the kitchen at the fridge in the next instant.
"Welp that's the lot of the troublemakers. Since introductions are over I think it's time we get you to bed little tike. We have lots to do for the rest of your life and sleep is a necessity " Tepmin laughed again at his own joke as he stood up and walked Damien back to the rooms to put him down for bed.
