Chapter 51 - found him

"So that's what happened," Kifayat said thoughtfully. "I didn't realize senior Arbaz was so famous."

Cyra smirked, her eyes twinkling. "It's not just because of the senior. You're responsible for some of it too."

"Me? How?" Kifayat asked, blinking in confusion.

Cyra and Dina exchanged knowing looks before Cyra sighed. "Don't you realize how beautiful you are? It's only natural that you attract attention."

Dina nodded in agreement, adding, "A beautiful girl and a handsome man spending the whole day together? Of course, people will gossip."

Kifayat tutted, rolling her eyes. "Tsk, do people really have that much free time at university?"

Cyra grinned. "Whether they're free or busy, people always make time for gossip. But that's not the main point here. Be honest with me, Kifayat—what's going on between you and senior Arbaz?"

Kifayat waved her hand dismissively. "What could possibly be going on? We just met yesterday. I barely know him."

"That's exactly what's surprising," Cyra pressed. "As far as I know you, you don't get along with people easily, especially someone who offended you before."

"You're saying I hold grudges?" Kifayat's voice was playful, though she felt a little guilty.

"Don't you?" Cyra's tone was firm, her eyebrow raised.

"Ahem, maybe a little," Kifayat admitted sheepishly. "But senior Arbaz came to apologize this morning. He even offered to help me find the mysterious letter guy. So I forgave him."

"Is that so?" Cyra tilted her head, looking doubtful. To her, Arbaz didn't seem like the approachable, warm type, but from Kifayat's words, he sounded completely different.

Dina chimed in, her voice thoughtful, "But don't you think senior Arbaz is being overly kind to you, Kifayat? I feel like he might be interested in you."

"Oh, come on, Dina," Kifayat laughed. "We've only known each other for two days. Do you think he fell in love at first sight?"

"Possible," Dina said, smiling. "After all, you are so pretty."

"Haha, thanks, but that's not realistic. Who scolds the person they fall in love with?"

Cyra jumped in, "Still, what Dina said can't be completely ignored. Did you notice that senior Arbaz didn't leave until we were safely inside the dormitory?"

"I noticed that too," Dina added. "He was careful the whole time—kept a proper distance so we wouldn't feel uncomfortable."

Kifayat frowned slightly, beginning to wonder. Could Arbaz really be interested in her? But before she could dwell on it, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts.

"Who's calling at this hour?" she muttered, pulling out her phone. The screen displayed an unknown number.

Kifayat hesitated before picking it up. "Hello?"

A familiar voice responded, "Hello, madam."

"Brother Arbaz?" Kifayat asked, immediately recognizing his tone.

"Hmm," he replied, sounding amused.

Her brow furrowed. "How do you have my number?" Kifayat felt a sudden sense of vigilance creeping in.

Arbaz chuckled lightly. "It's not that hard to get your number, dear junior."

"What?" Kifayat's voice sharpened, catching Cyra and Dina's attention.

"Relax. I didn't use any illegal methods," Arbaz quickly reassured her. "Neil gave it to me."

"Oh…" Kifayat sighed, remembering that she had given her number to Cyra's cousin, Neil, before. "Why didn't Neil just tell me?"

"At first, he didn't want to give it to me. But I convinced him by saying I needed to share some important information with you."

"What information?" Kifayat asked, curious.

"Did you forget already? I told you I'd help you find the letter guy."

Kifayat's heart raced. "You've already found him?"

"Almost," Arbaz teased.

"Who is it?" Kifayat asked, her voice rising in surprise. Her sudden excitement made Cyra and Dina exchange curious glances.

"I'll tell you face to face. Do you have time tomorrow?"

"I have classes," Kifayat replied, her thoughts swirling. "But I'm free after that."

"Perfect. I'll pick you up after class," Arbaz said confidently.

"Okay." Kifayat hung up the phone, her mind still reeling from the sudden turn of events.

Cyra immediately pounced. "What happened? Don't leave us in suspense!"

"Wow," Kifayat said, still processing. "Senior Arbaz is amazing. He's almost found the guy who we couldn't track down for years."

Cyra's eyes widened. "Seriously? We even hired a hacker to find that guy, and he couldn't trace him."

"Exactly," Kifayat said, her curiosity piqued even more. "I really want to see who this person is."

Unbeknownst to her, she had already crossed paths with him, not only seen him but also spent the entire day in his company.

"Then the senior will come again tomorrow?"

"yeah. Oh I almost forgot to tell him about the class schedule."

"Then call back and tell him."

"Forget about it. He will ask me himself if he know. "

When the thee of them were preparing to go to sleep, Dina suddenly thought of their another roommate.

"Girls, it's already half past ten, our another roommate didn't come today. Should we call her to ask where this?"

Cyra teased,"Baby, do you have her number?"

Dina smiled awkwardly.

Kifayat chimed in, "I was also thinking about this. I saw her in the morning before going out. I asked if she wanted to go the cafeteria with me. Guess what did she say?"

"She definitely rejected you."

"Yes." Kifayat pretended to be Bella, imitating her tone, she said " No! I don't eat those cheap, unhygienic foods from the cafeteria. You don't have to worry about me. My sister is taking me to the best restaurants in the city today. "

"Hahaha, this girl is really something. Since that's the case don't worry about her. She must be enjoying her exquisite dinner in a fancy restaurant. Or maybe she felt our small dormitory isn't worthy of accommodating someone so special. So she didn't come back."

All three of them stopped thinking about Bella and went to sleep.
