Aaron jumped when he saw Olivia holding a glass of water. He'd been caught doing something weird—standing there, half-naked while holding the umbrella and ranting to himself. His face flushed with embarrassment as Olivia's clear eyes narrowed, scrutinizing him.
"This umbrella is so stupid... I mean, this umbrella is so old," Aaron stammered. Olivia's eyes were still on him as she sipped her water, not looking away. She gulped the water slowly, almost chewing it.
"Ah, I mean... aren't you worried it'll break when you use it?" Aaron tried to hide his fear that Olivia might misunderstand and realize what he was really thinking.
"That's valuable to me. Why?" Olivia asked. "Got a problem?"
