"Good. The bone dragon is mine and mine alone. Split up now. Let us all return victorious!" Nox yelled as her warriors roared along with her, splitting into their groups.
As they did, her mate came up to her.
"Scar?" Aylin asked the shy look on her face left with nothing that resembled the blood-soaked omega that had terrorised the enemy with glee.
"Can we talk?" She asked, looking up at Nox in askance.
Nox smiled sweetly down at her, reaching out and grabbing the omega's hand before leading them a little ways off from the others.
"What's wrong, little fairy?" Nox said, wrapping her arms around Aylin's waist and drawing the omega closer to her. Aylin accepted the gesture gratefully, resting her head against Nox's chest and sighing in contentment. However, that contentment did not seem to last long, seeing as a small frown settled between the omega's brows. She raised her head, placing her chin on her mate's chest to gaze at her before speaking.
