Account: multiversal tales

As the Hokage, he couldn't afford to be idle.

Furthermore, a mysterious organization capable of compelling Danzo to show vulnerability to him was undoubtedly a serious threat.

From the current standpoint, this mysterious organization held a hostile stance towards Konoha.

"That's correct. This organization is shrouded in mystery, with its core members unknown. However, one thing is certain: it possesses extensive knowledge about the Root and Konoha, and it wields significant power. Many of our Root Jonin have fallen victim to this organization's attacks. Ignoring it will only lead to it becoming a formidable adversary for Konoha in the future," Danzo warned, accentuating the danger posed by the Night Organization.

"I understand," the Third Hokage acknowledged, though he remained noncommittal.

Although it was the first time he had heard of the Night Organization, he refrained from acting solely on Danzo's account. Provoking an unknown and potentially potent organization without solid evidence of their threat to Konoha wasn't prudent.

Moreover, the Third Hokage hadn't received any intelligence suggesting that the Night Organization posed a direct threat to Konoha at present.

In his mind, it was better to err on the side of caution. If this organization truly posed a significant danger, it was best for Konoha to gather more information before taking decisive action. With Konoha currently embroiled in conflict with the Sand Village, diverting resources to confront an enigmatic organization would be unwise.

"Danzo, don't try to manipulate the situation. Vigilance against potential adversaries like the Night Organization is prudent. Eliminating threats before they escalate is wise. Rest assured, this matter will be handled by the Root, and we won't involve Konoha's resources. You need to accept your current circumstances; having this much freedom is already a privilege," the Third Hokage responded firmly, exposing Danzo's ulterior motives.

"Do you expect me to turn a blind eye to the Uchiha clan menace you unleashed? Do you comprehend the peril posed by the Uchiha clan at present? A mere skirmish on the borders has spawned over a dozen fully mature Sharingan wielders, with the possibility of a Mangekyou Sharingan user emerging unknown. Hiruzen, you're playing with fire. If our mentor learns of your actions, he'll be deeply disappointed. I can't stand by while Konoha faces potential devastation from the Uchiha clan. You must release me; the Root's influence is crucial. Once out, even Uchiha Homura will fear the Root's power," Danzo argued vehemently, bringing up the Uchiha clan as a significant bargaining chip.

The Third Hokage's expression shifted, showing a pensive demeanor as Danzo's words struck a chord.

He couldn't overlook the Uchiha clan's recent surge in strength. Despite their impressive contributions during the Kyuubi incident, their rapid growth posed concerns.

It was undeniable that the Uchiha clan, with its combat prowess and potential Sharingan abilities, needed to be managed carefully.

"Hiruzen, let's consider alternatives. I won't insist on my release, but I request permission for my shadow clone to operate outside. If you agree, I'll swiftly relay Sunagakure intelligence to you. The Root will resume its role in gathering vital information for Konoha and disrupting enemy operations," Danzo proposed, capitalizing on the Third Hokage's softened stance.

Allowing his shadow clone to operate outside would serve as a compromise, enabling Danzo to contribute without violating his confinement.

As long as it could be ensured that Danzo himself remained confined and posed no risk of betrayal to Konoha, allowing his shadow clone to oversee the Root's actions outside was a reasonable offer.

"Don't entertain other thoughts, Hiruzen. You need to trust me. With me here, the Uchiha clan won't dare to flaunt their power in Konoha," Danzo insisted.

Hearing this, the Third Hokage gave Danzo a skeptical look.

How dare you ask for my trust? Didn't you break the senju Clan's seal barrier without informing me? Hiruzen murmuring thoughts echoed in his mind as he recalled the repercussions of the previous sealing enchantment incident.

"I won't make the same mistake again," Danzo assured, attempting to regain Hiruzen's trust.

"What if you do?" Hiruzen's tone remained cold.

At this point, Danzo's eyes lit up, realizing that Hiruzen was leaning towards agreeing with him. He steeled himself and gritted his teeth, "If I commit such a crime again, you have my word to take my life. Show no mercy to my subordinates either."

"Remember these words," Sandaime pondered for a moment, fixing a cold gaze on Danzo.

With a swift movement, he stood in front of Danzo, catching him off guard. Danzo reacted quickly, but a short knife was already at his neck before he could act.

His hair stood on end as the sharp blade hovered dangerously close, freezing his movements.

Konoha's White Fang was indeed swift.

Unable to resist, Danzo watched as Hiruzen's hand touched his heart.

A multitude of sealing spells cascaded onto Danzo, forming a curse seal on his chest.

The Sandaime was skilled in sealing techniques, including control Curse, a deadly cursed-seal technique of the Sarutobi clan. Its sole function was to kill the cursed individual from afar.

Danzo's fate now rested in Hiruzen's hands.

"You've placed a cursed mark on me!" Danzo exclaimed, his teeth clenched.

"This is a precaution. As long as you remain obedient, this curse seal will never activate. Danzo, consider this my final mercy. Remember, there won't be a next time," Hiruzen declared ruthlessly.

With no trust left for Danzo, Hiruzen saw fit to restrain him with a deadly measure. Only the threat of death could ensure Danzo's compliance.

"In matters concerning the Land of Rain, you may discreetly disrupt the deal between Hattori Masanari and Iwagakure, but there must be no mistakes in Konoha's dealings with Masanari. Do you understand?" Hiruzen commanded Danzo sternly.

Mixed emotions surged within Danzo—anger, humiliation, regret. However, the blade at his neck and the curse mark on his chest silenced his rebellious urges.

Unyielding, Danzo resolved to repay today's humiliation manifold in the future.

"Today's disgrace, I will repay it in full one day," Danzo muttered bitterly in his heart, his gaze fixed on Hiruzen's cold eyes.

"Understood," he forced out the word.

"Good. I await your performance," Hiruzen nodded before turning and leaving the cell.

As the Third Hokage departed, The white Fang lowered the dagger from Danzo's neck and disappeared without a word.

With a thud, Danzo collapsed to the ground, followed by manic laughter echoing in the cell.

ha ha ha..

Soon, darkness enveloped Danzo, consuming the cell's light, returning it to its former state of darkness.

The next day, in the underground laboratory of the Konoha Orphanage, Kirito and his Zetsu's avatars gathered, preparing for an important task: transplanting two pairs of precious Eyes.

On the operating table lay a pair of white eyes and a pair of Blood Dragon Eyes, awaiting transplantation.

With eagerness evident on his face, Kirito proceeded to place Zetsu's clone on the operating table and carefully extracted its eyes using a Chakra scalpel. He then stored Zetsu's eyes in a prepared container.

Next, Kirito opened the container holding one of the Byakugan eyes, removed the eye, and transplanted it into Zetsu's avatar.

After some time, the Byakugan eye was successfully transplanted.

The Byakugan eye, now nourished by blood and chakra in a special solution to maintain their activity, began to show signs of vitality. The once dull and lifeless eye now had a vibrant glow.

Interestingly, despite Zetsu's clone lacking actual eyeballs nerves, the presence of intercolumnar cells within the avatar facilitated the smooth acceptance of the Byakugan without causing any discomfort or physical strain.

The Byakugan remained tranquil within the Zetsu's clone, indicating a seamless integration with its new host. No sign of rejection.

"This is Byakugan's field of vision; it's akin to a high-magnification microscope," Kirito remarked, exploring the enhanced vision through Zetsu's avatar.

With the ability to perceive the surrounding environment through Zetsu's eyes, Kirito noted that even though Zetsu's eyes were not physically opened, their pupils could magnify objects to a certain extent, similar to a microscope. This allowed Kirito to observe microscopic organisms like bacteria with clarity.

After acclimatizing to the Byakugan's vision, Kirito proceeded to transplant the second Byakugan into the Zetsu's clone's remaining eye socket, a task accomplished much faster due to prior experience.

Upon opening both eyes, Zetsu's avatar experienced a significant enhancement in vision. The presence of two Byakugan vastly improved eyesight, allowing Kirito to clearly discern even the smallest of bacteria, previously visible only faintly.

"How do I activate my eyes?" Kirito pondered after completing the transplantation of both Byakugan.

Soon, he discovered the answer.

Since Zetsu's clone successfully accepted the Byakugan, the eyes began autonomously absorbing chakra from the body, especially the Mokuton chakra. This particular chakra seemed highly favored by Byakugan, which absorbed it with eagerness.

The Mokuton chakra, rich in vitality, nourished Byakugan, emitting a faint light in dim surroundings.

Observing Byakugan's transformation, Kirito marveled at its pure white appearance with a hint of noble purple, reminiscent of Hinata's Byakugan.

"Just increase the chakra input," Kirito realized the solution.

Promptly, his Zetsu's avatar began channeling its Mokuton chakra into the Byakugan at Kirito's direction.

As Byakugan absorbed a significant amount of the Mokuton chakra, its appearance changed. Blood vessels under Zetsu's clone's eye sockets emerged, and Byakugan's previously inconspicuous pupils were revealed.

Byakugan's eyes opened.

The world transformed in Kirito's eyes. With two Byakugan activated, his vision expanded drastically. Nothing obstructed his sight, allowing him to see through objects effortlessly and focus on distant locations.

Moreover, Byakugan's vision revealed secrets within objects, capable of zooming in and out to observe surface details and internal structures clearly.

Furthermore, the dynamic vision afforded by Byakugan was exceptional, making it challenging for speed-oriented ninjas to outmaneuver Kirito.

"Chakra acupuncture points, chakra flow routes, and even the Mokuton chakra formation are all visible," Kirito remarked, studying his Zetsu's avatar body with fascination.

The complexity of Mokuton chakra formation became clear; it required the combination of water and earth chakras alongside a yang attribute chakra formed by special cells like Zetsu or hashirama cells. This unique yang chakra allowed for the successful generation of the Mokuton chakra, vitalized by genetic power inherited from Hashirama. Such a tiny piece able to generate so many things.

Observing these processes with his enhanced vision, Kirito marveled at the intricacies of chakra manipulation and the mysterious properties inside of the Zetsu cells.

Although this peculiar chakra occupies a very small proportion, it does exist.

"Could this be the legendary Ashura's Chakra? the one he inherited from hagoromo ? Although there is only a little bit of it, this power seem to be the key to the formation of the Mokuton chakra."

Kirito noticed this strange chakra and sighed.

From this perspective, the blood of the senju is indeed necessary to successfully master the power of Mokuton.

"Considering this, Nawaki and Tsunade are very likely able to inherit the Mokuton with the right condition. However, I'm unsure if the yang attribute chakra present in their bodies contains this small amount of special Ashura's Chakra. I should investigate further."

Kirito contemplated thoughtfully.

Nawaki and Tsunade hold significant importance in his life now. If they can master Mokuton successfully, it will undoubtedly enhance their strength and survival capabilities in this tumultuous world. Moreover, it would be a continuation of the legacy of the Senju Clan and a thanks to his teacher Mito's diligent cultivation over the years.

Such a development would also likely humble the fiercely competitive Uchiha clan members, as the Mokuton's power surpasses that of the Sharingan. This understanding has been held by countless Konoha ninjas since the defeat of Uchiha Madara by Hashirama.

"If not, then perhaps they can only be integrated with a part of Zetsu's body. However, explaining the origins of such things as the Zetsu remains a challenge. In the future, I may need to find a suitable opportunity to transfer the soul clone into another zetsu body, and then allow them to investigate and capture it."

Kirito smiled to himself.

He still had five such items in stock, discovered during his search for Jiraiya.

Moreover, creatures like Zetsu, which are essentially plant beings, are astounding. Even if their heads are severed, they don't actually perish. It's just that the soul within dies, while the body remains alive.

As long as they absorb enough nutrients, the missing parts of their bodies can regenerate.

Their miraculous regeneration ability stems from having two types of extraordinary cells, the Divine Tree Cells and the Hashirama Cells, coexisting peacefully without any signs of resistance or rejection.

If Zetsu were lacking either of these two types of cells, their remarkable regenerative capabilities would be significantly weakened, or even non-existent.

With the successful transplantation of the white eyes, the Mokuton chakra has a beneficial nourishing effect on them.

It's expected that Byakugan will be continuously strengthened as it's nourished by Mokuton chakra for an extended period, enhancing its abilities.

Whether it can evolve into the Tenseigan remains uncertain; it's a possibility but not guaranteed.

"The creation of the Samsara Eye requires the power of all things, specifically the power of the Six Paths. It's a fusion of Asura's Chakra and Indra's Chakra. If the Byakugan is nourished by the power of the Six Paths in the future, could it evolve into the Samsara Eye? As for the tenseigan...hmm, that's an intriguing development concept."

When Kirito pondered the Tenseigan, his mind also drifted to the Samsara Eye of the same caliber, considering the conditions necessary for its birth.

He's already acquired Asura's Chakra, leaving only Indra's Chakra to obtain.

While obtaining Indra's Chakra from Uchiha Madara, Indra's reincarnation, seems feasible, it's incredibly challenging given Madara's formidable combat prowess at the super shadow level.

After much consideration, the safest approach seems to be waiting for Uchiha Madara's passing and then acquiring Indra's Chakra from the subsequent Indra reincarnation, Uchiha Sasuke.

However, since it's currently Konoha's 32nd year, there's still a significant amount of time before Uchiha Sasuke's birth.
