Chapter 10: Killing a Higher-Ranked Cultivator (III)
Sun Kang had actually condensed his Origin Energy into an energy blade around his hand.
Once Sun Kang did that, the high-level cultivators watching the battle from different places within the garage, couldn't help but become deeply astonished, as the simple-looking move that Sun Kang just unleashed was one they couldn't recreate or duplicate, no matter how hard they tried.
"What an amazing genius! This boy is definitely a genius of the Great Dragon-Elephant sect."
"Astounding and spectacular! But how is he able to accomplish something that I can't re-create, even at my present cultivation stage? Isn't that hugely shameful? Ugh! Truly, only geniuses cultivate at the Great Dragon-Elephant sect. They weren't lying when they claimed that."
As soon as the glowing blade of condensed Origin Energy formed around Sun Kang's hand, basically turning his hand into a blade that gave off softly-pulsing violet light and emanated continuous pulses of power that sent chills down one's spine, voices that contained utter astonishment began to ring from out everywhere within the crowd.
The feat that Sun Kang pulled was one that they felt only really advanced geniuses should be able to smoothly execute.
But the burly rogue cultivator wasn't scared of whatever form of attack Sun Kang will produce, as he was two entire cultivation stages below him. That alone gave him confidence to win this seemingly arduous battle!
However, he was being careful, as he couldn't tell what other shocking battle move that Sun Kang might come up with that could greatly injure him.
Not long, two of them clashed against each other.
Slash!
Sun Kang instantly slashed down with great physical strength at the glowing fist that was raging towards him.
Immediately the blade in Sun Kang's hand made contact with the glowing fist, it cleanly cut through it like a hot knife through butter.
Arghhhhhh!
The burly rogue cultivator suddenly screamed out in pain as blood sprayed out of the arm that was slashed open.
And without waiting for the burly rogue cultivator to recover from the pain and shock of his hand being severed off, Sun Kang immediately spun around and swung that blade in his hand at the neck of the rogue cultivator.
Slash!
The moment the blade made contact with the neck, the neck instantly slashed open with the head shooting off like a projectile into the air. And as soon as this occurred, blood immediately gushed out from the neck like a fountain and shot furiously towards the sky.
While all this occurred, Sun Kang who was standing in front of the rogue cultivator's headless body, became fully bathed in the blood that rushed out of his severed neck.
Soaked in the blood of that cultivator and not making any sort of expression in his face, he was instantly presented to everyone as someone that had possibly gone through countless bloody wars, and also as someone that totally enjoyed bathing in the blood of his enemies.
At the moment, he seemed like a blood-harvesting devil that had come to live amongst humans.
"What a dreadful young boy. Such wicked-level decisiveness. I wonder why I have never heard of this disciple from the Great Dragon-Elephant sect?"
"He actually killed that fifth-layer, Common Law Warrior-stage cultivator? Amazing. I must tell this to my brothers at the sect. This is a grand feat that will spread like wild fire across our city soon. This maniacal boy is sure to become popular soon."
"How come we have never heard of this monster before? The Great Dragon-Elephant sect is surely good enough at hiding their geniuses. I wonder how many geniuses they are still hiding. Hmph!"
Sun Kang couldn't be bothered by what everyone was saying because of the feat that he performed. All that was in his mind was to take the storage bag of the burly rogue cultivator, as it would be his first battle trophy since his soul translated into this body.
As soon as Sun Kang picked the storage bag from the corpse of the burly rogue cultivator and could feel how heavy it was, indicating that it contained a lot of coins that the rogue cultivator had gathered himself or snatched from people over time, he couldn't help but produce a devilish smile in his face.
'I will definitely kill more cultivators soon, including high-level ones. I want all their wealths and treasures.' Sun Kang said within himself with that devilish smile still hung on his face.
But just as he was about to leave the lifeless corpse of that burly rogue cultivator, a condescending voice suddenly rang out from far.
"Disciple of the Great Dragon-Elephant sect, drop that storage bag in your hand and immediately be on your way!" The voice said in a commanding tone.
But not showing any form of fear or horror to what that person said, whilst producing a rather confident smile that lit up his pretty handsome face, he asked, "I am right here, come and take it off my hands. Then I would like to see what the elder who is secretly accompanying me will do to you and your clan or faction."
Sun Kang said and actually crossed his arms like he was waiting for that person that spoke to appear before him.
However, after waiting for a while with a carefree attitude and a confidence that couldn't be ignored, and while looking piercingly and coldly at everyone that were present in the garage, he said with a cold and indifferent tone, "I didn't think so."
He then turned around to go to a carriage that will convey him to the Great Dragon-Elephant sect.
As soon as the carriage carrying him left, deeply astonished voices began to ring out from everywhere within the crowd.
"So, there was actually a hidden expert from the sect accompanying him? Hmm. I thought as much anyways, since I wondered why such a talented disciple like himself will be out here all by himself in this cold and brutal world without any form of protection. What if anything happened to him, that would be a serious loss to the Great Dragon-Elephant sect, as they would have lost one of the mighty pillars that will uphold their sect in the future."
