Outside the operating room, Kyomu quietly waited.

Although he had great confidence in Tsunade and the others' medical skills, a faint anxiety lingered in his heart, deeply fearing any mishap.

Inside the operating room, Tsunade and her team proceeded with the surgery in an orderly manner. Obito's right half had already been removed.

Aside from the heart and stomach, all of Obito's other internal organs were replaced with those of White Zetsu.

Yes, White Zetsu indeed had internal organs, albeit lacking a digestive system. (They can't take a sh*t)

As time passed, Tsunade and the others busied themselves on the operating table, finally reaching the final stages.

Led by Tsunade, with Rin and Nonō assisting, the pale green glow of the Mystical Palm Technique illuminated most of the lab, moving slowly along Obito's incision, promoting the fusion of Obito's cells with White Zetsu's cells.

Once the incision was fully healed, Tsunade glanced at the data displayed on various instruments and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Phew! Thankfully, there was no rejection." She wiped the sweat off her forehead. "We'll keep him under observation for a while. If there are no issues, Obito can start rehabilitation training. Maybe Obito won't even need rehabilitation training and will quickly regain his combat abilities."

After a brief explanation, Tsunade left the operating room.

"How did the surgery go, Tsunade-nee?" Kyomu immediately approached, wiping the sweat off her forehead as he asked about the surgery.

Tsunade enjoyed Kyomu's concern for her and naturally informed him about Obito's condition.

"That's a relief," Kyomu also breathed a sigh of relief, leading Tsunade to sit on a nearby bench outside the operating room. "Nee-san, how long until Obito fully recovers?"

"I estimate about a week," Tsunade said, sharing her judgment. "With the unique Yin chakra from the Mangekyō Sharingan suppressing and promoting the fusion, White Zetsu's cells are very compliant and can perform to their full potential, leaving almost no aftereffects."

Kyomu nodded, finally feeling reassured. "So, this means that no matter how much Obito uses his eyes in the future, he won't go blind."

"If everything goes as expected, Obito's eyes will be almost like the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Even if intense battles cause temporary blindness, his vision will recover after some time."

"So it's still not as good as the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan," Kyomu shook his head. "If only we had cloning technology."

"Don't even think about it, at least not in the next few years. I have no clue about that technology yet," Tsunade waved her hand, suddenly thinking of Orochimaru. "If it were that guy, Orochimaru, the progress might be faster."

"I can't figure out Orochimaru's intentions," Kyomu sighed. "If possible, I'd like to reconcile with Orochimaru and support his research wholeheartedly. But that's in the past. Now, I've found a genius even more talented than Orochimaru."

"You're talking about Amado?" Tsunade clearly knew about this person since Kyomu had specifically mentioned his name. "Do you really have that much confidence in him?"

"I've never been wrong about people," Kyomu said confidently, having known about Amado from his previous life. Amado's achievements far surpassed Orochimaru's.

While Orochimaru was confined to the narrow understanding of traditional ninjutsu research, Amado was ahead of everyone, studying scientific ninja tools and combining ninjutsu with science, introducing various high-tech weapons.

However, despite Kyomu's significant investment in Amado, he remained cautious. He wasn't sure if Amado had been influenced by Isshiki.

Kyomu only needed Amado's intellect and kept him away from other crucial matters, limiting his power.

At the same time, Kabuto was also a promising candidate. Not only did he have excellent medical and research talents, but he was also an outstanding spy.

Kyomu was confident that Kabuto was loyal to him. He planned to pair Kabuto with Amado to supervise each other, preventing any mishaps.

For now, Kyomu wasn't in a hurry to implement this plan.

"As long as you're confident, I won't worry about it. Mei and Yugito are already taking care of everything for you," Tsunade said, glancing at Kyomu. "Are you really thinking about having both of them?"

"I'm already an emperor; it's normal to have multiple wives," Kyomu said without any embarrassment. "Otherwise, who would inherit my empire in the future?"

"That's nonsense! The heir must be chosen carefully, and there can't be multiple candidates. Otherwise, the ninja world will fall into chaos again after a hundred years!" Tsunade said, her face stern.

"I understand, Nee-san," Kyomu replied seriously. "I'll consider it in the future." He stood up, ending the conversation. "I'm going to check on Obito."

Tsunade nodded but didn't let him enter the operating room immediately. Instead, she had him change into a sterile white coat and undergo full-body disinfection.

Once everything was ready, Tsunade led Kyomu into the operating room.

...

A week later.

As Tsunade predicted, Obito recovered well. Not only did his severely nearsighted eyes return to normal, but he also awakened a part of the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai.

This partial awakening was likely due to White Zetsu's cells, which were not purely derived from Hashirama's cells.

Nevertheless, Obito was quite pleased.

"Where's Kakashi?"

The first thing Obito wanted to do after being discharged was to find Kakashi and have a good fight.

Without the Sharingan, Kakashi, who followed in Sakumo's footsteps, was no match for Obito, whose current combat strength was superior.

"Stop thinking about it," Kyomu glared at Obito. "Get ready and adapt to your new body. We have something important to do once you're prepared."

"Attacking the Four Great Nations?" Obito was intrigued. "I've wanted to do that ever since I awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. I've never fully activated my Complete Body Susanoo. The ninjas of the Four Great Nations would make perfect targets."

"It's not the Four Great Nations," Kyomu shook his head, pointing outside the window. "It's the moon."

"The moon?" Obito's interest peaked. "Are you planning to deal with the descendants of Homura?"

"Of course. I don't want them interfering when I attack the Four Great Nations," Kyomu said, his tone filled with killing intent.

Obito nodded, understanding. "So, you've been planning to deal with them for a long time?"

"Naturally. If it weren't for waiting for you, I wouldn't have delayed this long."

"Alright, I'll adapt to my body quickly and then take you to the moon," Obito said, patting his shoulder.

After reminding Obito to rest well, Kyomu left the room.

Outside, Yugito hurriedly caught up with him. "Kyomu, it's already completely dark. Everything for today is done. You should rest."

"Rest? More like overtime," Kyomu chuckled. "Take a break for now. Once I've dealt with the matters on the moon, we can discuss tonight's plans."

With a playful tweak of Yugito's nose, Kyomu headed to his residence, not looking back.

However, Yugito wasn't willing to let it go. Later that night, she climbed over the wall into Kyomu's residence.

"Should we intervene?" An ANBU ninja patrolling the street asked his companion.

Slap.

His companion smacked him on the head. "How would you intervene? And how would you dare to?"

"We saw nothing, and even if we did, we forget everything. And no talking about it!"

"Understood, Captain..."

The ANBU ninja shut his mouth and did not interfere with Yugito's intrusion, quickly turning away and leaving the area.

"I knew it," Kyomu sighed, embracing the sneaking Yugito, keeping his hands to himself. "No fooling around tonight. If anything happens, it's not my fault."

"I wish you would let things happen, but you always manage to control yourself," Yugito pouted, wriggling in his arms. "Am I not as good as Mei?"

"You're talking nonsense. She hasn't gotten as close as you have," Kyomu said, patting her on the back. "Behave yourself and don't strain your waist."

Yugito pouted but stayed still. "Kyomu, kiss me."

Puckering her lips, Yugito closed her eyes, waiting for Kyomu's next move.

After a long kiss, Kyomu's hands wandered, and Yugito's eyes sparkled, urging him to continue.

"Sleep!"

"Oh."

Yugito stopped insisting, curling up in Kyomu's arms like a kitten, quickly falling asleep with a gentle snore.

Kyomu kissed her forehead before holding her tightly and drifting off to sleep.

The next morning, Yugito was gone when Kyomu woke up.

As he dressed, Yugito entered with a prepared breakfast. "Kyomu, it's time to eat. Did I time it right?"

"You're very considerate, Yugito."

"I'm glad you're happy. Now eat up, we have work to do," Yugito said, stirring her porridge absentmindedly. "Kyomu, when do you think we'll be able to stop being so busy every day?"

"Probably never," Kyomu replied between bites. "But once everything is settled, we might be able to take a few years off."

"Really?" Yugito's eyes lit up. "You better not be lying!"

"I'm not lying. When the time comes, I'll take you around the ninja world."

Yugito nodded happily, deliberately ignoring Mei, and her appetite improved significantly.

After finishing breakfast, the two walked to the Ryūkage office together, avoiding Mei's attention, or rather, she chose to ignore it just like Yugito.

"Ryūkage-sama."

When Kyomu, Yugito, and Mei entered the office, Obito, Kakashi, Might Guy, Hiashi, and Kimimaro were already waiting inside.

"Obito, how are you adapting?"

"I'm doing well and feeling great," Obito said, glancing at Kakashi. "I've tested it, and my body can handle intense combat."

Kakashi looked a bit downcast. He had lost their recent sparring match thoroughly, and the gap between them had widened further. Though Kakashi could accept this reality, it still affected his mood.

For a moment, Kakashi understood why Hiruko developed the Chimera Technique. Bloodlines were the greatest unfairness in this world.

However, Kakashi hadn't given up entirely. He was close to completing a new technique he had envisioned.

"Since that's the case, prepare yourselves," Kyomu said, not comforting Kakashi, knowing he would adjust and that he was preparing a new technique. Although Kyomu only knew it involved magnetism, it was a power derived from perfecting the Lightning Release chakra nature and form manipulation.

Magnetism, when mastered deeply, could be incredibly powerful.

Kyomu just hoped Kakashi wouldn't become obsessed with it.

"We'll depart for the moon this afternoon at 2 PM," Kyomu announced, then asked Obito, "How much chakra will you need to transport us all to the moon with your eye technique?"

"The chakra consumption is manageable, but if we take too many people, I won't have enough left for combat."

Kyomu nodded, deciding against bringing more people to the moon. His current team would suffice.

With a wave, Kyomu dismissed everyone, then focused on handling the day's and the upcoming days' affairs, delegating tasks to Yugito and Mei.

Soon, the appointed time of 2 PM arrived, and everyone reconvened in the Ryūkage's office.

This time, Obito carried the Uchiha fan, looking extremely serious.

"Prepare yourselves."

At Obito's command, his eyes began to bleed, and a swirling spatial vortex appeared, first absorbing Kyomu and the others, and finally Obito himself.

"So, this is Kamui's dimension?" Hiashi marveled as he looked around. "It's truly awe-inspiring."

"Of course it is. The Sharingan isn't something your clan's Byakugan can compare to," Obito retorted, his tone slightly provocative.

Hiashi didn't respond but was clearly displeased.

"Focus," Kyomu chided Obito. "Since you belittle the Byakugan, you can deal with the Tenseigan later."

Obito fell silent, but his eyes gleamed with anticipation. He was incredibly strong now, and his Complete Body Susanoo was unmatched.

Though he had never fully activated it before due to physical and ocular limitations, he now felt unstoppable and even believed he could defeat Kyomu.

But whether Obito's Uchiha arrogance would hold up remained to be seen.
