On the street, a couple that appeared just past their teenage years held hands, skipping around, their laughter echoing throughout.

Both Kyomu and Mei used the Transformation Technique, making it difficult for anyone to recognize their disguises.

"I want to eat this!" Mei pulled Kyomu to a stall selling dango. "I've heard from Haku that these three-colored dango are delicious."

"You've never bought them before?"

"I want you to buy them for me." Mei picked out two skewers of dango. "How much for these, sir?"

The stall owner looked at Mei, then at Kyomu, his eyes full of blessings, and cheerfully quoted a price that was slightly lower than usual.

"Uh..." Kyomu suddenly felt awkward. He had lost all concept of money.

The entire Dragon Country was his, and it had been many years since Kyomu last shopped, let alone carried money with him.

"Here." Mei handed a bill to Kyomu. Seeing him still in a daze, she couldn't help but push him. "Hurry up and pay."

"Oh."

Kyomu handed the money to the stall owner and took the change.

"Your girlfriend really likes you," the stall owner said with a smile. "Using her own money to let you buy her dango. I've never seen that before. Make sure to take good care of her; a man should always be prepared."

Kyomu didn't think there was anything wrong with using Mei's money to buy her dango, but he could only smile awkwardly at the stall owner's words.

Mei glared at the stall owner, not appreciating his advice.

I'm trying to seduce my man, can't you see?

Without staying put, she quickly ate a dango, savoring the sweet taste in her mouth, and pulled Kyomu along to continue exploring.

"Lanterns! Wishing lanterns!" Mei's voice was high-pitched and cheerful. "Hurry, let's go over there."

Kyomu, being pulled by Mei, walked briskly to catch up.

As soon as they squeezed into the crowd, Kyomu spotted familiar faces.

Obito and Rin.

Kyomu's heart skipped a beat, but Mei showed no reaction, still pulling him along to ask the vendor about the price of the wishing lanterns.

"Haven't we met somewhere before?" Obito suddenly moved closer to Kyomu while Mei was squatting down to choose a lantern.

"Ha, I didn't expect Obito-sama to remember me." Kyomu played along. "I once served under you."

Obito scrutinized Kyomu, his face getting closer, almost touching Kyomu's nose. "Really?"

"You might have forgotten." Kyomu continued to play along.

Obito wanted to confirm, his eyes showing signs of turning into the Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Obito." Rin pulled him back. "If you forgot, you forgot. Don't make things so tense."

With that, Rin gave Kyomu a meaningful look, then glanced at Mei, who had chosen her lantern and was now standing beside Kyomu.

"Ah, sorry, maybe I'm just tense from reporting back to the village," Obito said, scratching his head with a smile. "Also, my eyesight isn't great. Sometimes I mistake people. Don't mind me."

"Of course not."

"Take care of yourself, Obito-sama," Mei said, pulling Kyomu away quickly.

As they walked further away, Obito finally took Rin's hand, his smile fading. "Rin, those two are definitely suspicious."

"You've just returned to the village, don't meddle in unnecessary matters." Rin pinched him. "You'll have a hard time tomorrow."

"What do you mean?" Obito scratched his head again. "Explain it to me, Rin."

"Think about it yourself." Rin pouted. "Besides, shouldn't we be setting our lantern now?"

"Right, right, setting the lantern."

Obito led Rin in the opposite direction, disappearing into the crowd.

"Phew, Obito is really vigilant."

"Are you afraid of being discovered?" Mei glanced at Kyomu. "Are you worried about causing a commotion, or is it that our relationship shouldn't be public?"

Both reasons, but Kyomu couldn't say that.

"Mainly worried that if we're discovered, we won't be able to continue our date."

"I believe you." Mei hugged Kyomu's arm, the soft touch making Kyomu acutely aware, even through their clothes.

Actually, Mei could guess but chose to ignore it selectively.

Between them, no one was foolish. The only difference was whether someone chose to be clear or chose to be confused.

Without a doubt, Mei chose the latter.

"Here." Mei handed Kyomu a pen. "What are you going to write on the wishing lantern?"

"Of course, prosperity and military success." Kyomu answered directly.

"I knew it." Mei sighed. "Then I'll write mine. You always find time to rest."

Kyomu scratched his nose without responding, writing a line on the lantern, lighting the candle inside, and holding it in his hands.

Soon, Mei finished writing and, along with Kyomu, released their lanterns, sincerely making a wish.

As their two lanterns floated higher, Mei finally opened her eyes, smiling brightly at Kyomu.

While wishing, many thoughts had crossed her mind. Marriage, children, growing old together, seeing the distant stars, and wondering how far she could accompany Kyomu.

Though chaotic, these were the most beautiful things Mei could imagine.

"Did you make a wish?" Mei asked Kyomu.

"No." Kyomu shook his head, then asked, "What did you wish for?"

"To always be with you," Mei said frankly. "To accompany you to the end, to see the scenery in the depths of the starry sky with you."

Kyomu embraced Mei, kissing her forehead. "That wish will come true."

Nodding, Mei responded with a kiss on her toes, then enthusiastically pulled Kyomu to continue their walk.

"Clothes shopping!" Mei pointed excitedly at a five-story mall. "There are so many clothes here that I like."

Then she pulled out a wad of bills, stuffing them into Kyomu's hand.

Using Mei's money to buy her clothes was a novel experience.

"This is the lingerie section..." Kyomu felt embarrassed as they reached the second floor.

Mei whispered her measurements to Kyomu.

Surprisingly, Kyomu felt a twinge of excitement and nervousness.

Mei didn't rush him, waiting for a while before leading him to the lingerie section herself.

However, despite her outward boldness, Mei was quite anxious, her hand sweating as she held Kyomu's.

Finally, feeling too shy, Mei pulled Kyomu away before he could say anything.

Relieved, Kyomu accompanied Mei to the third floor.

Without the distraction of lingerie, they regained their previous atmosphere, with Kyomu happily buying clothes for Mei using her money.

Mei didn't just shop for herself; she also picked out two outfits for Kyomu, insisting he wear them the next day.

After shopping, they left the mall with bags in hand, heading to a restaurant.

"Of all the places, you brought me here?" Mei asked, half-annoyed, half-amused, pointing to a ramen shop. "Who takes someone on a date to eat ramen?"

Despite her words, Mei quickly found a seat with Kyomu and naturally ordered their meals.

Slurping noodles noisily, they both laughed heartily.

Kyomu grinned, realizing that dating wasn't as stressful as he thought; he could just go with the flow.

"I finally understand why you never take the initiative," Mei said, setting down her chopsticks. "If you did, you'd have scared me off long ago with your erratic behavior."

"Uh... I just find it troublesome." Kyomu confessed.

"And being with me?" Mei asked.

"Very relaxing."

"Then tomorrow?"

"We can go out again." Kyomu's response finally satisfied Mei, making her smile even brighter.

However, all good things come to an end. As the night wore on and the streets emptied, Mei reluctantly let Kyomu go home.

She wanted to stay, but she understood Kyomu's dedication to his work. Despite her reluctance, she waved him off with a smile.

But once Kyomu was out of sight, Mei couldn't contain her joy, jumping up and down.

"Yay!"

Blushing, she hurried back to her residence.

That night, Mei couldn't sleep.

Similarly, Kyomu found himself in a similar situation, but not because of Mei or the refresh of his passive skills. It was because of Yugito.

Whoosh.

A kunai gleamed in the moonlight, aimed directly at Kyomu's face, illuminating Yugito's cold eyes.

Raising his hand to block, Kyomu caught Yugito's wrist. Despite her cold gaze, there was no killing intent from her.

Yugito didn't stop fighting.

With a swift move, her long, tense legs wrapped around Kyomu's waist, and she twisted her body to get behind him, clinging to him tightly.

"Kyomu, you reek of Mei, very strongly!"

It felt like being caught cheating.

But Kyomu didn't plan to hide it. "I went shopping with Mei."

"Shopping closely together?" Yugito whispered in his ear. "No wonder you took so long to come back. Were you so reluctant to leave her?"

"Mei pulled me along."

"Then if I pull you, will you go?"

"Yes." Kyomu nodded, patting Yugito's butt, still clinging to his back. "Get down. It's late, and we have work tomorrow."

"I want today."

"Most shops are closed now."

"I don't care."

"Be good." Kyomu patted her again. "We have a lot to do tomorrow."

"Then... the day after tomorrow, you'll spend time with me." Yugito jumped down from his back. "But what about tonight?"

"...What do you want to do?"

"Come with me."

Yugito smiled seductively, pulling Kyomu into the bedroom.

"Yugito, what are you planning?!" Kyomu felt uneasy, alone with her in his room.

Without a word, Yugito pushed him, making him stumble onto the bed.

Gracefully jumping, she landed in his arms.

"From now on, I'll keep an eye on you. If Mei can take you out shopping today, she'll dare keep you out all night tomorrow."

This...

Before Kyomu could respond, Yugito leaned in, their breaths mingling.

Despite her boldness, Yugito was inexperienced. With Kyomu's guidance, she realized kissing was more than just lips touching; it was an intricate exchange.

Within moments, Yugito's chest heaved like bellows, her eyes fixed on Kyomu's face.

Neither spoke, simply gazing at each other.

Soon, Yugito smiled, curling up like a kitten on Kyomu's chest, clinging to his waist.

Kyomu moved, gently holding Yugito's slender waist, flipping her onto the bed.

"Sleep beside me tonight." Kyomu's tone left no room for argument. "Nothing else. It's not the right time."

Yugito nodded, clinging to Kyomu for a while before sitting up.

"Don't..." Kyomu's refusal wavered.

In less than three hours, Kyomu had been stirred by both Mei and Yugito. Even an iron man would melt.

Yugito didn't stop, though she lacked the courage to go further.

After removing her outerwear, she shyly crawled into Kyomu's bed, quickly discarding another layer.

Without speaking, Yugito gazed at Kyomu, her expression pitiful.

Sigh.

Kyomu sighed inwardly, realizing the challenge had come sooner than expected.

Stripping to his bare chest, Kyomu slid under the covers.

As soon as he lay down, Yugito snuggled close, their bare skin touching.

Something pressed against Kyomu's arm, soft and smooth. Combined with Yugito's warm body and breath on his ear, it made him restless.

Fingers twitching, Kyomu finally moved his hand.

Meow~ Yugito's suppressed voice escaped, her legs wrapping around his thigh, her pale skin turning rosy.
