When the cellphone rang, Qin Yuji's eyes were already red from crying.

Choking back sobs, Qin Yuji hung up the phone, packed the medical records into her bag, and left the hospital to take a taxi back to Dijing.
When she walked into the office, she saw Chi Jingxuan standing anxiously by the window. As Qin Yuji pushed the door open, the man turned and approached her, "What exactly happened?"
Over the phone, the little woman's voice, laced with tears, had made Chi Jingxuan's heart clench instantly. Now seeing her with a red nose and eyes, his face immediately showed grave concern, "What's wrong?"
