"Robert, is the President of Dijing mentioned in the report, Chi Jingxuan?"
With fluent English tinged with a hint of gentlemanly London accent, the middle-aged Chinese-American man raised his head to ask his secretary.
"Yes, sir."
Nodding in response and seeing the boss had returned to the documents in hand, Robert inquired softly, "Would you like to hear the next item, or shall I read the entire article from before, sir?"
"The entire one."
With brief and concise two words, the middle-aged man didn't even lift his head, waiting until Robert had finished reading the whole report. He then signed the document with flourish, capped the pen, and instructed Robert, "Call Daniel in."
"Yes."
Upon Robert's assent, he turned and went out, and a few minutes later, a young man bearing a resemblance to the middle-aged man strode in.
"Daniel, do you remember Chi Jingxuan, the President of Dijing Group?"
The middle-aged man asked directly.
