Leaving Starbucks, Qin Yuyan took a cab to Han Yifan's private villa.
After ringing the doorbell, she waited for Han Yifan to open the door, and a discomfort began to settle in Qin Yuyan's heart.
They were already engaged, but Han Yifan had never given her the keys to his villa. She had hinted at it once, but Han Yifan had joked that with her careless and forgetful nature, she'd probably lose the keys somewhere. Since they were coming together anyway, there was no need for her to have them.
When she suggested changing to a password lock, Han Yifan had ignored the idea altogether.
This behavior, not treating her as his fiancée, made Qin Yuyan feel particularly unpleasant.
Lost in her thoughts, the door opened.
Han Yifan, looking like he had just woken up from a hangover, glanced at Qin Yuyan and, rubbing his head, asked, "Why are you here?"
With his one sentence, Qin Yuyan's smile instantly froze.
"Yifan, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
