"You don't have to do this," she said, lowering her eyes demurely.
"Don't worry, I won't let her stay here too long," Mu Yingchen said with a hint of chill in his voice. He only let that woman stay because of a bet. He didn't want Wanwan to marry him and attract criticism. He intended to have her legitimately become the Mu Family's young madam.
A touch of warmth crossed Su Wanxia's heart. "Don't make things unpleasant with your family for my sake." She knew he always respected his grandfather deeply and loved his mother dearly. That he would do this much for her was already more than enough to satisfy her.
"Hmm," Mu Yingchen's heart softened. He thought she would be angry, but she understood him completely.
"I'll take you to see where I live," Mu Yingchen said softly, stroking her hair.
Su Wanxia's face lit up with joy, "Really? I don't even know where you live yet."
