Xia Weiyi saw them, merely furrowing her brows slightly before shifting her gaze to the young nurse beside her. She covered her lower abdomen with her hand and was silent for quite a while before speaking in a halting voice.
"Where is my baby? How is she?"
The young nurse was in the midst of pouring water for Xia Weiyi when she heard the question. Startled, she set the cup on the table and diverted the conversation awkwardly, "Miss Xia, please have some water first, would that be alright?"
