"Dad, I must be crazy, I think I must have lost it..."
In the interrogation room, Mu Youqing's voice broke through his collapse, and Musheng walked in to see him, no longer a trace of sorrow in his eyes.
Shen Nanyi turned to look at her, suddenly unsure of what to say.
Consolation, persuasion, it seemed like Musheng didn't need any of it.
She just quietly observed Mu Youqing for a long time before approaching him and asking, "Do you hate me that much?"
This question caused Mu Youqing to slowly lift his head, his lips trembling as he looked at Musheng with a lingering chill in his eyes, as though after everything had been said, he still couldn't let go, deep down convinced that it was all Musheng's fault.
Mu Hecheng also seemed reluctant to directly gaze into Musheng's eyes, sighing slightly and closing them, possibly feeling guilty about a decision he had made years ago, or maybe it was for some other reason.
"What a pity."
