Nominally, Musheng had stated she wouldn't accept private interviews, but even though she wasn't in the country recently, there were always legends about her circulating in the country. Lying low, she still topped the trending searches several times, a feat that others did not have.
Many journalists also approached with the attitude of a Hail Mary attempt; after all, if you have dreams, you should try them out. If you don't try to interview, how can you be sure Musheng won't respond? What if you actually catch a lucky break?
And so, a journalist really did strike lucky.
Musheng stood at the center of a crowd, but most fans didn't get too close to her, allowing her enough breathing space. They formed a ring around her, screaming and following Musheng as she walked. Zhao Sishang and Xiaosong were by her side, protecting her and fending off some of the more extreme fans who pushed closer to them.
