This answer was somewhat disappointing for Musheng, but it was also within her expectations.
She had never expected to directly find any information, and now it seemed like getting this unexpected news from Horace was a gain. If it had been easy to find out who it was, the person researching the genetic element back then would not have been able to escape under the watchful eyes of so many in China.
