During a break, Musheng approached Mu Lianmiao, who smiled softly and said in a low voice, "Did you do that on purpose?"
Mu Lianmiao could see through Musheng's performance. There was a deliberate element to it, but it was subtle enough that others did not notice. Everyone was so captivated by Musheng's performance that they overlooked the deeper intention.
Musheng unabashedly admitted, "I wanted to teach him a lesson, that's what he gets for being troublesome."
With a tone that suggested it was only to be expected, Mu Lianmiao pinched her palm and gently scratched the center of her hand, "He's not worth your full effort."
Mu Lianmiao was aware of what Norbert had done, but for such a clown, he knew how to strike at Norbert's weakest point. Musheng was getting involved personally, however...
"And besides, your 'full effort' isn't very damaging."
Mu Lianmiao's comment made Musheng lower her gaze and chuckle, "Are you suggesting that I need to debilitate him?"
