What kind of woman was Lena Mum?
According to the prediction from the script, she was the type that Musheng didn't like but nonetheless admired.
Indeed, she was kind-hearted and innocent, charging forward recklessly for the passion in her heart, just as she fell in love with Emery, willing to sacrifice her own life for him and never regretted it.
In Musheng's view, this was quite laughable; she didn't like such a moth-to-the-flame kind of love, yet she truly admired Lena Mum's ability to stick to her true self from the beginning to the end.
From the audience's perspective, Lena Mum was somewhat of a saintly figure, which was also why she later became so vastly different from Queen Cecil. The bigger the contrast, the more explosive the character's potential, especially for those characters who are suppressed initially and later become awakened, those could really thrill the audience to the extreme.
