As they passed by the Li Family's gate, Xiaohei wasn't very enthusiastic. Instead, it tucked its tail and tried to hide in a corner of the wall. Ruan Jiaojiao found that strange and called out to it, but Xiaohei just whined in response and didn't turn its head back.
Li Shu heard the noise and came out, surprised at the scene as well.
He smiled and said, "It was just fine earlier; wonder why it suddenly became like this." Then looked at Ruan Jiaojiao, "Jiaojiao, you're such a good girl, going to call your dad for dinner again?"
Ruan Jiaojiao replied, "Yes, Uncle Li, today you..." She hadn't finished her sentence when the person leading her by the hand started walking forward quickly, pulling her along with such speed that Ruan Jiaojiao couldn't keep up and kept asking him to slow down. Naturally, she could no longer continue her conversation with Li Shu.
