Huo Jinnan said he knew, "You should rest early."
After leaving the meeting room, Huo Jinnan finished a cigarette and walked to the end of the corridor. He blended into the night in his black suit and made a call to Huo Qichang, his voice grave as he asked, "You've known about my mom's condition for a while now, haven't you?"
Upon hearing Huo Qichang's affirmative reply, Huo Jinnan's gaze grew darker, "Haven't found a suitable heart?"
Hearing that they had been searching, his brows knitted together, "Have you found one?"
—"Not yet."
Huo Jinnan pinched out the cigarette butt, his eyes ink-dark and almost reaching freezing point, "Is it that you haven't found one, or are you planning to keep it to bargain with me?"
Angry voices came from the receiver, "Jinnan!"
"Remember to call me if you find one."
Huo Jinnan hung up the phone and looked towards the thick night sky. The summer heat came in waves, beating on his face, yet he couldn't feel a trace of warmth.
