The Wu family's house was built very spacious. At that time, Wu's had spent three taels of silver to buy three acres of land for the foundation. To build the house as quickly as possible, Wu's hired quite a few villagers to help. Combined with the clear and dry autumn weather, despite the house being quite large, it took only a month to complete.
