When Muniang emerged from the house with a natural expression, ready to leave Mei Garden, two little heads finally peeked out from the balcony railing on the second floor.
Lu Qi'er cocked her head and said, "By the looks of it, there must be nothing in the tea. Mu doesn't show any reaction at all."
However, Tianniu said, "That's not necessarily the case. With Mu's capabilities, even if there were something in the tea, she probably wouldn't make it known. She'd wait for the prey to come to her again. That would be much less trouble."
Lu Qi'er looked at Tianniu in amazement; all of these thoughts had never occurred to her, but hearing Tianniu analyze it this way seemed to make perfect sense.
Lu Qi'er admired her wholeheartedly, "Tianniu, how are you so brilliant? How did you think of all that?"
"I'm just guessing. It may not be accurate. Maybe there really was nothing in the tea."
"But you've almost completely guessed what Mu was thinking, which is quite remarkable in itself."
