Muniang snorted softly and said, "Why are you telling me all this? You don't seem to like others knowing too much about your family matters."
Wu Haoli took a deep breath before answering, "I don't know, maybe I feel that it's too exhausting to bear it alone. Besides, you owe me so many favors, and I remember each clearly. It wouldn't be too much to ask you to share some of the burden, right?"
Muniang pursed her lips but ultimately said nothing. Others admired her for supporting a family at such a young age, but she had brought knowledge and skills from a different world. This man, however, had built his current realm relying solely on his sheer grit.
"Has he left?" Wu Haoli asked abruptly.
Muniang nodded, "He will return in a few months, he still has some affairs to handle on this trip."
Wu Haoli said, "You speak of it so lightly, aren't you afraid he might not come back?"
Muniang smiled, "He will come back."
Wu Haoli curled his lips in a half-smile but said no more.
