"What do you mean by 'I need to leave the village?'" Mikhail spoke, looking at Kileana sitting on top of the table, continuing. "Are you serious?"
"Mom!!! What do you mean? Is this because of what I asked? What am I going to do without him here? There's no point in granting my request if he's not here," Praia exclaimed, crushing the piece of pie she was holding.
Kileana leaned back slightly, her expression gentle yet resolute. "Mikahil, do you remember the conversation about the descendants? Well, your duty truly remains crucial, but you've already fulfilled the main part in this region. Because there are issues beyond the village that require your attention. It's about the balance of forces, the complexities of alliances, and potential conflicts that need your unique skills."
Quickly looking to the side and touching his daughter's cheek, he continued speaking, "As for your request, Praia, I assure you there is a plan. It will be to completely ignore it because I don't even remember what you asked me for, but for sure, it's utterly nonsensical."
"Huh????" Praia's world seemed to crumble around her, hearing this coming out of her own mother's mouth.
"Just waiting for your big conclusion on this..." Mikahil spoke, sitting with crossed arms and an empty expression, looking at Kileana.
Kileana shrugged and shook her head. "It's your wish, my daughter, which is quite obvious from what I'm thinking here. Don't worry, Mikahil's departure is temporary, and I believe that this time apart will benefit both of you, as long as you don't pursue it without my permission..." Kileana spoke, winking. "After all, both of you, remember, you have intertwined destinies."
'Even if in a forced way...' Kileana thought.
Mikahil's eyebrows furrowed in thought, contemplating the weight of his responsibilities, but his thoughts quickly vanished as he completely ignored it. 'Sooner or later, I would have to leave anyway... Honestly, what a mess. I wanted to earn experience points by having sex, not fighting... Whatever, I just need to find a woman with teleportation powers.'
Praia, on the other hand, stared at Kileana; her gaze was a mixture of frustration and a hint of understanding. With a sigh, she released the crumpled pie, letting her fingers relax.
"I understand, Mom. I just... It's hard to imagine him not being around," Praia admitted, a trace of vulnerability in her voice. "And I promise to fulfill my duty as your successor and not run away from the village."
'Urgh... You're terrible at lying,' Kileana thought.
'Problems... That's what I'm seeing unfold,' Mikahil thought, yawning.
Kileana's eyes softened even further, and she extended her hand in a comforting gesture. "Mikahil, I know you're disappointed, but I have something to tell you. On the way to the Vampire realm, you'll need to pass through the human capital where you'll encounter the queen. She's a lazy woman, but I know you'd like to talk to her."
When Kileana felt Mikahil's hand grip, she pulled him forward, whispering in his ear, "The queen's weak point is her collarbone... Make good use of that information."
Praia only looked on, her eyes narrowing with anger. "Mom, stop with the secrets. I'm going to do something awful."
"If you continue like this, you'll end up dying at the hands of other women, or have you forgotten that you're not the only one? Hahahahah," Kileana spoke with a malicious smile on her face.
"Mother and daughter fighting over me... Hmmm, I like that," Mikahil said, placing his hand on Kileana's chin and leaning forward to give her a direct kiss, feeling the ground beneath his feet tremble.
The beach screamed furiously, 'Ahhhhhh Mikahil!'
'What a daring move,' Kileana responded to the kiss, snapping her fingers and making the two of them disappear from the dentist's office, reappearing hundreds of meters above the ground."
When her lips parted, Kileana's hands were on Mikahil's face, saying, "You're really impatient, huh? But you shouldn't do that in front of that girl, you know her well."
Mikahil responded, looking directly into Kileana's eyes, "That's exactly why I did it. You know she'll take it the wrong way, and since I'll have to leave, at least I want a kiss from the leader if I have to fight for it."
"Smart boy, you already know your current limit," with her eyes shining in a deep crimson hue, Kileana brought her mouth to Mikahil's neck, giving a small bite, causing blue lines resembling tree roots to appear all over Mikahil's body. "With this little gift made for you, your preparation for the outside world is ready," Kileana stuck out her tongue, and a white runic symbol appeared, similar to an H with an S on top of it.
'Urgh... This is boiling, what did she put in my body?' Mikahil thought, seeing a look from Kileana that he had never seen before, a submissive gaze, something never seen from the strongest mage among humans. 'Why am I getting excited about this?'
With her thumb resting on his tongue, a green glow emerged from the runic symbol. "I wanted to give you this on your farewell, but since we're in this situation, it's probably the best moment," Kileana removed her thumb from her tongue and moved it to Mikahil's chest, right where his heart should be. "You've officially won me; consider me yours. A part of me now resides within you, and through that, you will strengthen in the future, becoming the ruler of this world."
"thump thump thump thump"
The right arm of Kileana, the one with the thumb touching Mikahil's heart, became covered by the same blue roots that were on Mikahil's body, connecting them both. "The moment you return to this village, I'll be waiting for your subjugation. Until then, don't die at the hands of others."
The other women who hadn't left the village yet, waiting to talk to Mikahil, smiled and said different things but with the same meaning, "Too late to talk to him now, damn Kileana always ahead of us."
