Chereads / Vengeance Attire / Chapter 34 - Damiano

Chapter 34 - Damiano

I knew I'd be swamped with gang matters after taking charge, yet I planned the wedding as soon as possible. I'm crazy, hoping my body can hold up to the demand.

I decided on a wedding at a seaside resort. Amara met with me for the past few days, and I showed her the resort. Even though I couldn't help with other things, I sent Rosa and Angelina to assist her. Of course, Bianca and Niko participated too, I guess.

The thing is, I wish to finish the last papers and send myself flying to her apartment to see her face. I have to recognize that she has been more responsive and texts back much more casually. But still, it doesn't beat a face-to-face date where I can hold her hand and taste her lips.

In two days, we will have the wedding, and I am trying to remind myself that after the wedding, she will be mine. I just have to hold on a little more.

I can feel my patience running low when I wake up the next day, my desk full of papers. I sit in the same office and I resume calling her, asking if everything is going fine. Her voice makes me grit my teeth. One more day, and I will see her in a damn wedding dress. It's gonna be worth it.

Still, screw the gang and everything!

The day of the wedding arrives, and I can feel myself being on the edge when I am not allowed to see her. I have to wait with the priest till she will have her entrance with Franco.

The wedding is quite big. I look, and there must be more than 100 people here. I didn't want the wedding this big, but as I am now the boss of the gang, the other bosses come with some members of their own, and so the people added up significantly.

Sigh… I honestly don't care much about how much money I put in this. And, there were quite a lot… I only wanted to marry her and keep the peace between the gangs with the invitations I gave.

I sigh again, and the priest raises an eyebrow.

I feel like frowning, but I keep a serious face. Then I realize he wasn't looking at me. He was watching the bride who is silently heading towards us with Franco at her side.

I gulp, and I can't really express what the heck I am actually feeling. If angels look holy in white, my girl looked holy damn hot. My heart beats like a drum, and I hold my horses before I steal her and run away to make up with her on these nearby wild sands.

Franco gives me her hand, and I take it. She is having rosy cheeks, and the white veil portrays exactly how I felt when I first met her. A hidden pearl… that I somehow could see through its shell. I take the veil off her face, and I can swear I am ready to take her veils off her no matter how many times he puts them.

The priest starts citing, and I am having my eyes on her, unable to get away from her black eyes who stare into mine. I can see she is not forcing herself to be here. I feel at peace knowing that. Her hands are hot, and she crosses her tongue over her lips, as if she was thirsty.

I wanted to tell her that I felt the same way. Though I guess she knows that from the way I gaze at her .

"Do you, Damiano Bendetti, take Amara Morelli to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?"

I smile and with all my heart say a serious, "I do."

She is asked too, and her lips part saying the sweetest, "I do," I ever heard.

The priest asks another question, and I turn to look at the people present.

"Is there anyone present who has just cause why this couple should not be joined together in holy matrimony? Speak now or forever hold your peace."

No one says anything, and I glance at Amara, who is certainly not caring if someone has something to say something against us or not. I know no one will dare to say a word anyway. It's not like I will not shoot him and continue my wedding.

"You may kiss the bride."

I smirk, and Amara bites her lips, fueling in me something she always does doing that. I wrap my hand around her waist and drag her closer. One of my hands cupping one of her cheeks as she places her hands on my chest. She grips my suit jacket, and I giggle mentally why. It's hard to hold back from grabbing my hair when I deepen the kiss.

I depart, leaving her breathless, and a frown appears on her forehead. The cute little thing wanted more… Same here.

After the people cheered, the dance was the next element in the wedding. I place my hands on her hips, and she hugs my neck, her lips close to my neck. Her breath hitting my neck, stimulating me enough to wish that such tradition never existed.

"Do you want to be ravished here?" I whisper, and she giggles.

"As if… I am not doing it on purpose." She raises her head a little, and I look at her rosy cheeks.

"Then?"

"It's embarrassing to do this in front of them… Bia will make fun of my face… sigh… Just let me stay like this." She buries her face under my chin, propped on my shoulder.

"Stay how you want. But you will take the consequences of firing me up." I whisper in her ear as my hands grip her hips. She moans shortly, and I know she tries to resist the urge to disappear from the crowd and break free of her urges too.

"I don't worry about that." Her voice whispers in my ear as she raises her face a little. While she hides her face in the space between my shoulder and neck, she places a kiss on my skin.

No, she didn't just do this…

"You really don't know when to stop."

"Who said I want to stop." Her lips plant another wet kiss.

I grit my teeth, and she chuckles. She was really playing with me.

Just when I feel that I have a few more seconds to snap, the music stops, and everyone starts to drink and eat. Her roommates are drunk, excluding Emilio and Terzo.

Perfect.

Time to escape !

I slide out of the crowd with her following my hand, pulling her after me. She stops, and I glance at her. She bends down and throws the high heels and stands up smiling at me. She starts to run, dragging me after her, and I start to laugh.

She is without a 'veil'… and I damn love it. We depart from the building hosting the wedding, and the sea is a few meters away; the sand is intertwining with her feet, and I throw my shoes in the process.

Both of us start running until we reach the sea, and the reflux hits our feet. Her hand lets go of mine, and I glance at her. The moon is especially bright tonight, and I can see her well. Her eyes sparkling, and I feel my heart beating faster than from the run we took.

I turn towards her, and I look at her smiling face. She smirks, and I guess she is about to say something I will enjoy doing.

"Aren't you gonna burn me? You said you're fired up." Her head tilts, and she doesn't have to tell me twice.

My lips kiss her with passion, and she grabs my hair as our bodies fit together so well. The sweetness of her mouth was the thing I waited for days. Now that I taste it, I am sure I will get more addicted.

My hands undo the strings keeping the dress tight on her. I liked that her dress was simple and elegant, not having a corset or more complicated things. It helps me undress her much faster.

Perfect.

As she kisses me back, her hands throw the jacket on the ground, her fingers now tying to undo my buttons from the shirt.

I am faster; her dress dripping off her, and I trace her body with my hands as I enjoy savoring her moans let out as I nibble on her neck, leaving marks as I go down. I cup her breast and bite her nipple; she buries her head in my hair letting out a louder moan .

I lift her up; her legs wrapping around me, and I look in her eyes as she wraps her hands around my neck. The lust in her eyes is visible, her breath ragged. I smirk when I see marks on her neck and chest.

"I told you that you would regret firing me up," I say, planting a kiss on her shoulder, then glancing at her with a smirk. I haven't forgotten about her being mean

"I don't think I am regretting anything …" She smirks, and I know I have to teach her a lesson she will never forget .

I dash towards the sea, and she begins to scream as the water hits her legs, rising higher. Finally catching on to my plan, she exclaims, "I can't swim… You're a damn dick…"

Teasingly, I ask, "Want me to let you go?"

"No…"

"Good. Don't ever tease me like that. Told you, you will regret." I secure her body, and she gives me an annoyed look. I stay in place as the water reaches our shoulders.

"You're petty. Has anyone told you this?"

"No one." I gaze at her, and she's still quite mad.

"Remember I said that you are." She spouts the words and then stares at me. It's amusing to see her different personality sides. I've realized I can only unravel her true self in intense moments when she forgets her mask. This is one of those times.

"Is this what you're gonna tell me on our wedding night?" I smirk, and she thinks for a moment.

"I didn't plan to say this…" She seems frustrated, and I guess it's my fault for pushing her buttons a little too far.

"What did you plan?" Our faces are close, and the water waves hit our shoulders.

"Never mind…" She hides her face, and I know she had planned to say something.

"Do you want me to let you go in the sea?" I say jokingly.

"You won't let me go after I tell you that I love you…" She mumbles, and I can hear her straight into my ear as her lips almost touch my ear.

"You do?"

"Do you think I lie?" She raises her face, her frown making me smile.

"You can't really lie to me even if you want." I smirk, and she blushes. Her wet hair shines in the moonlight, and I feel blessed to have such a pretty bride.

"Give me a kiss, Bittercandy." I look in her eyes, demanding her to not keep me waiting.

She bites her lip and closes the distance; her wet hair touches my cheek. I feel her lips moving slowly as if tracing her love on mine. As she deepens the kiss, our tongues dancing together in a slow rhythm, similar to the slow waves hitting us.

As both of us are out of breath, our foreheads touch, and I whisper, "I love you too."
