In class
Zoe sits beside alice.
*Alice has her head down, she looks visibly angry. Her leg is bruised, making her limping. She is staring at the table, avoiding making eye contact with Zoe.*
Alice almost falls.
Zoe Catches her chair.
Zoe: Hey you ok?
*Alice snaps out of it, as she glares at zoe angrily. She makes an attempt to step away, but she fails due to the leg.*
Alice: I said... Leave me alone..!
Zoe:Ok ok. But uh..... Can i ask why you hate me? I really don't like to fight.
....
*Alice remains silent for a few seconds. She knows it's probably a bad idea to answer that question, but her curiosity takes over.*
Alice:why would you want to know?
Zoe:Because,.... You... Are an orphan and i though you'd be nice.(whispers)
Alice: I am not nice.
I'm rude, I'm obnoxious, and I'm a bully.
And you were dumb enough to not get away from me when you see the signs.
*Alice rolls her eyes.*
Zoe:that's what you want everyone to think. You don't fool me. I can see your pain.
Alice looks speechless. She has a look of awe on her face. She is caught off guard, because she didn't think she'd say something like that. But, as the shock begins to wear away, she glares at zoe.
Alice:how did you figure it out?
Zoe softly smiles while tears running down her eyes.
*Alice looks confused.*
Alice: W-why are you suddenly... Crying?
You're the one who won the fight....
Zoe: Meet me outside class.
Alice:why should i?
Zoe: if you want answer then It's the best choice.
Alice: o-ok.
