He was thrown back as Alex's fist hit his face, crashing into several trees on the way.
"Haaa...Haaa...."
Alex fell to his knees, his arms dangling by his sides.
'Overclock is powerful, but it takes too much out of me to use it...But, the fight should be over now.'
"Haaa...Haaa....Heuk?"
Alex's eyes widened as he saw a figure stumbling towards him, dust enveloping it as it continued to take uneasy steps towards him.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH! MORE! THAT WAS FUN!"
'That monster!'
Alex tried to move, but his body did not respond. He was out of commission.
'But...how?'
Alex could not understand how the boy was still walking despite the pain and injuries that covered him, not to mention the blood gushing from several wounds throughout his tattered body.
The boy limped toward Alex, both his hands limp and swinging as he walked toward him. His grey and spiky hair had now become red due to the blood and was stuck to his forehead. However, even though he was in no state to fight, his eyes were sparkling and he had an unnaturally large grin stretched across his face.
"HAHAHAHAHAH! COME ON! MOVE! THAT ATTACK! AGAIN!"
'Don't-Don't come near me!"
"There will be no more fighting! Look at how much you have injured yourselves! I will send you both to Marrie and have you bandaged for a year!"
"No..no..you don't have to do that...." Alex conjured up the last of his strength to turn his head and make a pleading face at Mama Teresa.
"A-A-Anything but that Mama Rhino, can't you just use healing magic?" The boy froze and looked at Mama Rhino with a wince.
"Then...BOTH OF YOU LIE DOWN NOW!"
"YES MA'AM!"
Alex was healed relatively quickly, as he had just overexerted himself and needed a few days of rest before he could do anything physical. The boy was worse off, bleeding from several wounds, a punctured lung, multiple fractures as well as burns due to the high heat caused by Overclock, mainly on and near his face.
Teresa had a hard time healing him, and even then, he would not be able to move for at least 2....huh?
As she was patching him up, she saw a clear blue liquid flowing through his body. Wherever it passed, that area would slowly start to heal. It was definitely not her magic, but that blue magic, which kept circulating through his body was undoubtably healing him faster than even her magic.
'At this rate, won't he be able to start moving again in 3 days?'
She didn't know what this was, and she didn't think the boy knew of this, but since it was helping she let it be. She would have plenty of time later to study this.
'Hm...I won't tell him, and I'll make him rest for a week. He deserves it after making me worry like this.'
After thinking up her diabolical punishment that aimed directly at the boy's weak spot, she nodded to herself, satisfied and carried the unconscious boy inside the hut.

"Mister hero, here you go. Please save us!"
A little girl gave a little flower garland to a well built young man as he crouched beside her. The man had a longsword attached to his belt. 6 more people stood nearby, talking among themselves.
Arthur rubbed the girl's head.
"Thank you for this, and of course, I'll defeat the demon king and save you all!"
"Ha! Look at you hogging the spotlight! What do you mean 'I'll defeat the demon king'? Surely you mean 'we' will defeat the demon king?"
"Maintain some dignity and elegance in front of an audience Christie"
"Who would care about dignity and elegance when you lie to everyone you see?"
"It's not a lie though?"
"It's gonna be"
"Let's not argue in front of people. Let's go everyone, we're leaving for the dungeon!"
A girl with silver hair and green eyes, wearing a brown leather adventurer's suit unfurled a map that was hanging at her waist.
"Wrong way, Arthur"
"...We're leaving for the dungeon!"
Christie pulled out a wand and smacked Arthur over the head.
"Owww! What was that for?"
"For being a stupid leader"
Christie hopped ahead, humming a tune. Arthur rubbed the back of his head, grunted, and followed after her, cursing under his breath.
A short purple haired boy walked over to the silver haired girl with the map and tapped her shoulder.
"Hm?"
"Katy, what do you think happened to the others who decided to go off on their own?"
"Ummm...It's very dangerous in this world, and without training properly and grouping up...they might die or maybe already...be dead"
"Gulp"
"So don't try to go off on your own okay? You may have animal companions, but without any knowledge or experience, you will probably die"
"I only have one companion, and I promise I won't leave"
"Good"
"Why even ask about those idiots Jacob?"
"Carlos..."
"You know they're fools, who don't deserve to be worried about"
Carlos, leaned his lean body against Jacob and wrapped his arm around him. He had a black cloak with a hood that covered his face. Though his face was barely visible, his big mouth could be heard by all...all the time.
"That's a little harsh Carlos, you can't say that about our classmates. Even though they have aa high chance of dying, there is a chance that they could survive" Katy looked at her map again.
"You know it's true, to live you have to group up, especially when you're in a new world"
Arthur matched their pace and walked beside them.
"They are too confident in their new powers, since it's new and exciting for them, they're making bad decisions. Let them do whatever they want, it doesn't matter to us"
Christie laughed from the front.
"Hahahahahaha! Look who's talking, Arthur Drunk McStuffin!
A boy with huge muscles with brown hair and blue eyes, with a large shield on his back, looked over, confused.
"What?"
"It's cause he's drunk on power...ah whatever"
"Oh! I get the joke...hahaha...."
"...stop pretending please, you're physically hurting me"
