Chapter 7 - Chapter-7

I pondered, is this my punishment from the thunder god, a wrathful decree from the heavens? "Hey, lad, my Miss desires a word with you," a figure cloaked in sunglasses and a sleek black tailed coat approached me, his voice a silky whisper against the clamor of the street.

"Who is your Miss? Does she have acquaintance with me?" I queried, peering into the depths of his shaded gaze. His countenance was inscrutable, marked by a jagged scar etched across his face and a sinuous dragon tattoo winding its way from his left hand to his concealed neck, a tale of tales veiled yet still palpable.

"I cannot say," his response left me apprehensive, reluctant to heed his beckoning. The realm of mortals, fraught with peril, felt more treacherous than the celestial abodes. Here, they barter not just goods, but organs, trading flesh for coin, a practice more abhorrent than any celestial decree.

"I am not a peddler of kidneys or eyes; they serve me still," I asserted, meeting his gaze with unwavering resolve as he cast me a solemn look before retreating into the obsidian depths of his awaiting vehicle. "I know that I am not afraid of you."

Yet, the man in shades returned, his presence a harbinger of unsettling tidings. "You think something else and talk something else," he intoned, his words a chilling reminder of the precarious balance between survival and surrender. How did he know what was I thinking? He guided me and I followed him without much thought.

I strode towards the waiting car without hesitation, only to be redirected with a curt command, "Not here, come to the rear."

With little recourse, I trailed behind them in silence, my thoughts tumultuous yet unspoken.

As our vehicle surged forward, leaving the stationary world behind, I couldn't help but jest, "Will we reach our destination by nightfall?" A glare from him stifled any further banter, plunging us into an uneasy silence.

An hour passed, ensnared in the clutches of traffic, suffocating amidst the haze of exhaust and oppressive heat. Desperate for relief, I cracked open the window, only to be met with a stern warning, "Keep your head inside, if you want to keep your head intact".

The sweltering discomfort weighed heavy upon me, prompting a forced smile as I quipped, "Quite the scorcher, isn't it?" His swift action in closing the window brought a sudden reprieve from the oppressive climate. I was trying to break the awkward silence, but he doesn't move an inch.

Curious, I inquired, "How did it become so cool all of a sudden?" His response was simple yet profound, "Because I activated the AC." It struck me then, the marvels of human ingenuity, their ability to conjure comfort from within the confines of a metal box. Such luxuries, unknown in the celestial realms, spoke volumes of the chasm between our worlds. Humans has this kinda features I think we don't need this in heavenly world because we always have moderate climate. Humans sure has interesting gadgets. This kinds of things are new to see, it's arousing curiosity in me.

Frustrated by the oppressive silence, I finally broke the tension with a probing question, "What happened to your face?" His gaze remained fixed ahead, initially ignoring my inquiry, until he relented, shattering the suffocating quiet. "It was in a car accident," his admission hung heavy in the air, stirring a chill within me as I pondered my own safety. He looks dangerous with that scar. He looks gives dark aura. Am I safe with him?

"I will ensure your safe arrival at your destination," his reassurance only served to intensify my unease, as though his words carried a hidden meaning, an ominous undertone that sent shivers down my spine. It happened again, he just read my mind again. But as he looks maybe is extremely scary. Even his voice is scary.

It was more like I heard, 'Don't worry, I'll send you to heaven today.' I shouldn't judge anyone based on their appearance but I just can't help it.

Finally, after all that ordeal, we reached our destination, and my stomach was grumbling loudly due to intense hunger. I am extremely hungry just give me food already.

He opened the car door for me. "Follow me," he said. As soon as I entered, I beheld a luxurious mansion, too grand to be called just a bungalow. It looks like caste. I followed him straight to the dining table; it was nighttime, so perhaps it was dinner time already. "You can eat here if you're hungry, or if you want to clean up, I'll guide you to your room," he offered. This what I wanted after I came to human world I kept feeling hungry I don't know why because I shouldn't be feeling this feeling. Before he could finish speaking, my hand was already on the food, and I was chewing the meat eagerly. He didn't even finish his sentence.

"Looks like you're way too hungry, Mr. Angel," a voice interrupted my feast. With my mouth full, I halted, startled by the interruption. "How do you know?" I managed to mumble through a mouthful of food. How did he know what I am?

Before me stood a stern-looking girl, appearing to be around twelve years old. Her age must be around 12 I guess but she looks very matured and elegant. Despite her seriousness, she exuded an undeniable cuteness. "Do you mean, 'How do you know?'" she corrected, her gaze unwavering as I nodded in agreement and hastily finished chewing. Where did this girl come from? I don't think she has any business with me.

"Girl, where is your mom? And do I really look that handsome that you're calling me an angel?" I quipped, trying to lighten the mood. However, she responded with a scowl, her anger apparent. I want to know how they know about because not any human can know this information unless they are related to heavenly realm.

"No, you actually look like a beggar. If you weren't an Angel, I wouldn't have even bothered to pick you up. You caused such chaos in the guild. No one wants you there; you're penniless, do you understand?" Her words, though harsh, didn't surprise or anger me. They were simply the truth. What she wants from me I can't figure out?

"Then why did you pick me?" I inquired, unperturbed by her reaction.

She immediately softened, as if her anger had never existed. "I am connected to the Supreme Lord, and I come from another world. He has given me a mission to guide you. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't even want anything to do with you." I don't know if I should believe her maybe she is lying or doing some kind of joke. But even though when she said that.

Her words were like honey to my ears. "Lord, were you watching over this poor soul?" I murmured tearfully. If it's true I can't be more than happy.

"Geez, you're all grown up, but you still cry like a baby. I don't why he choose you for this work ," she remarked, a hint of exasperation in her tone. After hearing her say those words I had this doubt is she really not lying?

"Are you truly someone sent by the Supreme Lord?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

But before I could inquire further, she pinched my cheek playfully. "No more questions," she declared firmly, then turned to the sunglasses man.

"Rud, take care of him. Make him a man, not just in appearance, but in physique as well. Feed him properly and train him rigorously. I'll return in seven days," she instructed before departing with her other bodyguards, leaving me alone with Rud. As if I am road side Romeo. I was once a most handsome angel that thing is different that I have been covered in blood for many days and didn't had chance to take bath. But why did she live with this guy. I don't like talking with him. But anyway let's get know.

"Hi, Rud. My name is..." I thought in mind why it has to be him.....
