The knights of the Kingdom of Valhalla fly all over the city, swiftly defeating the cursed dolls like hawks snatching their prey. Even with the blood sky enhancement, the cursed doll mobs are easily defeated by the knights. However, the problem isn't the strength of the cursed dolls, but their sheer numbers, which seem endless.
While small mobs like cursed dolls are easily defeated, higher-ranking enemies are becoming more difficult to overcome, as they possess tougher wool that mere steel cannot penetrate. Magic attacks must be unleashed to defeat them, along with a bit more effort. Their movements also pose a challenge, making them even harder to defeat.
However, despite the large number of enemies lurking in the capital, the casualties among the knights have not exceeded the twenty percent mark. With more victories than defeats against the cursed doll horde, even Veronica's fall is counted as a success, as she single-handedly defeated the giant cursed doll. It feels as though the knights had been waiting for this moment, finally proving their strength against the same calamity and horror that haunted them for two thousand years.
The spirits of the sky-resident knights are ablaze, and they vigorously defeat their enemies one by one. Even the giant cursed dolls become no match for them as their cooperation grows stronger. Light magic is unleashed in every corner of the city, creating a magnificent scene that marks their victory.
Hexelina stands on high ground, watching the army she summoned slowly crumble and turn to dust. There is nothing she can do except defend the throne room to sustain the blood sky phenomenon. Humming the melody of Moon Sonata No. 26, Hexelina falls to her knees, clutching her pink doll tightly.
One by one, the giant wicked dolls defending the high ground with Hexelina fall and disperse into dark smoke. Realizing they stand no chance against the elite knights, the remaining cursed dolls retreat and gather around Hexelina. They merge their bodies, becoming larger and stronger in order to protect their master.
An unsightly beast, formed from many giant cursed dolls and imbued with the power of the blood sky, crawls like a spider. Its mouth is filled with hundreds of sharp teeth, and its eerie eyes gaze into the souls of the elite knights. The creature's body mimics a spider, with each leg resembling a giant hand gripping the platform. The beast lets out a scream, disrupting the mana flow of the elite knights and instilling fear.
However, the elite knights quickly recover from the attack. They rise to their feet without hesitation and launch a fearless assault on the enhanced beast.
The Seven Pillars of Light soar higher, taking command of the skies as if it were their domain. Ascella, Alrescha, and Helios combine their magic to unleash a devastating magic attack against the enhanced wicked beast. Meanwhile, Sargas, Alastra, and their captain distract the creature, allowing them to cast the spell without interruption.
Lysander attacks the beast with his light magic-enhanced spear, striking it forcefully, but the spear only scratches its skin. However, Alastra's brute force causes the beast to flinch slightly and nearly destroys the bridge leading to the throne room. As the beast attacks Alastra while he is still recovering, it swings its tail at him. Sargas swiftly intervenes, saving Alastra from the devastating tail attack.
Seeing that Alastra is unharmed, Sargas smiles and swiftly throws him at the beast to launch a surprise attack. Alastra screams and curses Sargas for the underhanded tactic, as he was not informed beforehand. Despite this, Alastra manages to effectively punch and damage the beast with his bare hands.
The time they bought was enough for the three magicians of the elite knights to cast their spells. A brilliant giant halo appeared behind them, revealing hundreds of charged light beams, resembling four wings. Once their casting was complete, Helios aimed at the beast, and the charged light beams bombarded it, enveloping the creature in blinding light. After the initial bombardment, the lights converged into a single, massive beam. In no time, the beam was unleashed, striking the wicked beast with overwhelming force. The light was even brighter than the sun, causing a massive explosion upon the beast's body.
The wicked beast falls to the ground but quickly stands up again, determined to protect its master. It screams in pain, enraged by the damage inflicted upon its body. However, despite the devastating attack, the beast shows no visible injuries. It only slows its movements as it rapidly recovers from the internal damage caused by the assault.
Lysander falls into confusion, realizing that the most devastating attack from the three elite knights' magicians didn't even scratch the beast's outer skin. However, they observe the beast vomiting dark matter from its mouth, indicating that its internal body is in pain.
"Captain, is the reinforcement ready?" Sargas asked, the man who fly and come at his side.
"Just wait, wait for the sky start to scream." Lysander responded.
Just as the captain instructed him to wait, the sky began to scream, prompting the captain to turn his gaze toward the source of the sound.
A giant white dragon flies toward the throne room, where the Seven Pillars of Light are battling the giant wicked beast. On top of the dragon stands the King of the Kingdom of Valhalla, with his arms crossed and a proud expression on his face. The twins are also present behind the King, sitting and enjoying the view of the Kingdom of Valhalla from the dragon's back.
The knights fighting the cursed dolls in the capital shout in recognition of their king above on the dragon. Their spirits are reignited, and their morale soars, boosting their battle power as they see their king has joined the fight. The tide has turned, and it's time for the sky residents to reclaim their homeland from the intruders.
Hearing the knights' war cries, Hexelina feels overwhelmed and fearful, realizing she is losing the battle she initiated. She clutches her little pink bear tightly, trembling to the point where she can no longer make a sound. In her fear, Hexelina recalls how the other warlords once held the ground for her, fought for her, to achieve their goals and stay on the winning side.
Seraphion then unleashes the dragon's power. Light magic is cast into the dragon's mouth, and it spews a high-intensity light beam capable of penetrating even the strongest magical barrier ever created. With a single shot from the dragon, the wicked beast is dispersed and gone for good. The original cute pink doll's head rolls across the ground towards Hexelina before vanishing.
The dragon descends to the entrance of the throne room, confronting the troublemaker who plunged the kingdom into a sea of flames. Hexelina is surrounded by the Seven Pillars of Light, the white dragon, the king's right hand, and Seraphion, the King of Valhalla himself.
Realizing she is already defeated, Hexelina cannot bring herself to lift her head and face the crowd before her. Tears stream down her cheeks as she silently weeps, stifling her sobs and trying to keep her cries and snot from being heard. She has failed to protect the blood sky phenomenon, trembling in fear as she knows her freedom will soon be taken from her.
The figure who always stood by her side flashes before her eyes. She misses that presence deeply and wishes to see him again, just as they did in the past.
Unable to contain her emotions any longer, Hexelina cries out loud, like a child, in front of the knights who have completely defeated her after she underestimated them for two thousand years. Sitting on the ground, she is helpless without her spawns. She cannot leave her position, as she is still bound to the place, ensuring that no one else will take over the blood sky. People look at her with visible disgust at her sudden change in demeanor after causing so much trouble for them.
But deep down, she just scared that she would disappoint her lord.
Seraphion walks slowly toward Hexelina, a smile on his face as he looks at the pitiful warlord who once ravaged his kingdom in the past. Having avenged his long-held hatred, Seraphion feels no further animosity toward Hexelina, who now cries pathetically before him. He stands before her, holding his head high.
"Now now, dear Hexelina. You do seem having fun over this month." Seraphion says with a soothing tone and a smile, then extends his arm toward Hexelina, "It's time to go to your bed, playtime is over."
However, Hexelina is too frightened to open her eyes and look at the man who is speaking to her. Ignoring all his gestures, she cannot hear his words over the sound of her own crying. Only one figure fills her mind—the one man she had hoped would be there, the one man she has missed throughout all these years.
"Brother..."
And at that moment, her wish came true.
Like a meteor falling from the sky, Schordinger appears with a powerful impact, slamming down where Seraphion stands. Seraphion quickly retreats to a position near Lysander, the captain of the Seven Pillars of Light. Although Schordinger's appearance was anticipated, Seraphion did not expect him to show up so suddenly and unnoticed.
Seeing Schordinger's arrival, Seraphion smiles and commands the white dragon to unleash its magic once more, this time targeting Schordinger exclusively, "Ocelotte, blinding the world."
The white dragon casts its light magic beam once again. This time, the beam is even more intense than before, striking Schordinger from afar. The powerful light magic hits Schordinger squarely, and the beam continues to pour forth, its intensity unwavering until the spell's duration expires.
However, the light is so blinding that the elite knights, the twins, and the King are unable to see what's happening beyond the intense glare. Schordinger defends himself against the magic attack with only his bare hands, deflecting the excess light and creating a protective dome around himself and Hexelina, shielding them from their gaze.
Hexelina opens her eyes and sees what she has longed for. Schordinger, whom she has always called "brother," stands before her, protecting her from harm. He is like a saviour surrounded by white light, reminiscent of the figures from the bedtime stories she read as a child. Seeing Schordinger before her, Hexelina stops crying and smiles, filled with joy at the sight of her brother's back.
Once the white dragon's magic attack concludes, everyone can see that Schordinger is unharmed; only the floor shows signs of burning. Schordinger stands still, his muscles unmoved, after blocking the dragon's assault. With a mere snap of his fingers, he unleashes a powerful magic attack of his own, mirroring the dragon's spell and targeting the beast directly. There's no need for casting, no time wasted—the magic shoots back effortlessly.
The dragon immediately takes flight, fleeing from the magic attack that could inflict severe damage to its scales.
Everyone who witnesses his magic attack is left in shock, unable to move a single inch. Seraphion smiles, surprised to see such prowess once again after two thousand years, a sentiment shared by everyone present.
"Unbelievable, Malakar the Star Tamer."
Schordinger picks up Hexelina and carries her under his arm like a barrel. Contrary to his expectations, Hexelina does not protest; she accepts her defeat and allows Schordinger to carry her as he pleases.
"I didn't want to tell you this, but my lord has requested that I do." Schordinger turns around and gazes at everyone present in the place, "Forget about Malakar. I was reborn and she gave me a new name for a new start. The name's Schordinger, just Schordinger. Don't add ridiculous title on this new name of mine."
"He's right! I told him to." said someone coming from the throne room.
An ominous, wicked aura spreads around the entrance to the throne room, instilling fear in everyone's hearts. A young lady emerges from the throne room, her footsteps echoing in the silent space. Gradually, the sky turns blue and the bright sunlight highlights her presence. She smiles as everyone continues to fear her, even as the sky returns to normal.
Sensing the wicked aura, Hexelina immediately recognizes the source of such a mesmerizing presence. She struggled from Schordinger's arm, releasing herself just to bow and immediately greet her as she appears. Although confused, Hexelina is certain that the young lady descending from the throne room is her lord, The Evil King.
Seeing so much respect and loyalty Hexelina shows her, Deviola can't stand if she ignored her and didn't gave her proper recognition. Trembling with fear, Hexelina is both scared of her presence for having failed her twice and relieved that her lord is still alive. Knowing that she was ashamed, Deviola stands before her and pulled out Hexelina's hands.
A bright pink bear doll, as if brand new, is placed in Hexelina's hand. She is shocked, having never experienced such kindness from her lord before. To Hexelina, Deviola is a savior, but to repay what was she done to her, Hexelina follows her wherever she wants, cold, immovable. But such kindness, changes her perspective towards The Evil King.
"M-m-... my lord?"
Hexelina looks into Deviola's gaze, and suddenly, she got kissed on her forehead.
Such scene shown in front of many. A wholesome moment from the most evil being in history. The people around them are shocked but refrain from showing it. Meanwhile, Hexelina alone melts after feeling spoiled by the person she respects most, unable to stand as she is overwhelmed with happiness from the treatment.
Deviola succeeds in capturing the full attention of the top brass of the Kingdom of Valhalla with her entrance. All eyes are on her, leaving the magnificent scenery of the now-blue sky in the background.
"People of The Kingdom of Valhalla, I'm back."
