Elin wasn't happy when Kim moved to get up. She was comfortable against the older woman and didn't want to move. The fight had worn her out and if she was home, she'd have insisted in staying in bed. Maybe even all day.
Yet, her pillow was part of Kim, so when Kim decided to get up, Elin lost her pillow. Not only that, but Kim's warmth really helped keep Elin comfortable, despite their surroundings. She couldn't help but wonder what her life would have been like if Kim hadn't chosen to approach her first.
Of course, she also wondered when they could get some privacy with just the two of them again. This may only continue until they were able to get back to their own worlds, but that didn't mean she didn't want to lose a single opportunity to be with Kim that way. Especially since she couldn't say if that would be acceptable in her world. Or at least one of her station.
What had Kim get up was when Jonas brought over the armor that the hobgoblin had worn. It still was covered in the hobgoblin's blood and gore, but otherwise it looked fine. However, while Elin really didn't want to touch it until it had been washed, when Kim asked her if she'd help, she couldn't think of why to refuse.
Though, Elin didn't realize Kim had planned on taking the armor so far away from where they'd been. Kim carried the heavier pieces while Elin merely carried the pieces for the arms and legs, but it was still rather heavy. Either that or she still needed to get more rest.
When Kim stopped, Elin was surprised that she recognized the corridor they were in. It was where they'd launched the attack on the goblins the first time, when they were rescuing Heather and Sonya. In fact, where Kim was standing as she was starting to remove her leather armor was where Jonas had put the two girls after he'd saved them before he'd passed out.
It took Elin a moment to realize what Kim was doing. Maybe she was still half asleep, but it wasn't until Kim was topless that she realized Kim was taking both the armor and her clothing offf. At which point, Elin's eyes just drank up what she saw before her.
"Now I know how to get you up in the morning," Kim teased, making Elin blush, which in turn made Kim laugh.
Elin turned to walk away, more out of embarrassment than because she didn't think Kim wanted her there, but stopped when Kim grabbed ahold of her hand. "Don't go, my gem. You're just so cute when you blush," Kim said, gently pulling Elin towards her. "What do you say that we take our time with me changing into the armor?"
Elin knew she definitely was still very tired because it took her a few minutes of staring at Kim before what she was suggesting finally dawned on her. Elin smiled, looking downwards for a moment before looking at Kim through her lashes.
"I'd like that," was all she could think of saying. Then as she was kicking herself mentally for not being able to say something better, she yelped in surprise as Kim picked her up completely and they began doing what Elin had wanted to do again for a while.
+++
Elin lay dazed. She had wondered if she'd be able to feel like this when she'd been feeling so tired, but somehow that merely added to the effect. During their lovemaking, there hadn't been any sign of herself that she was tired, but now it felt like her being tired merely complemented the fading feeling she had from their intimate contact.
Kim certainly didn't seem tired at all, as she was already putting the armor on while Elin watched, laying on the ground, her dress pulled up around her waist and the bodice opened up enough that it gave Kim a small view of her breasts.
"When you feel up to it, get dressed and come back to the room, okay?" Kim asked when she finished putting on the armor, which had already changed its appearance in the same way the armor before had done, though Elin couldn't be sure, but it felt like this one revealed just a little more of Kim's body. Though, Elin was pleased when Kim helped secure her bodice back in place, since it wasn't something she knew she'd be able to take care of on her own.
"Alright," Elin murmured sleepily.
Kim smiled and gave her a quick peck on her lips before picking up what she'd stripped off of herself and went back to the room that they'd just come from. Elin merely watched Kim leave, part of her wishing they could go another round, as Kim called it.
Yet, she knew she couldn't stay like this. Especially not around so many dead goblins. While she wasn't bothered by them, she couldn't be sure that no one else was either. Although, she also knew that she'd even like to get back to the inn. After all, they'd definitely be more comfortable sleeping there, and she'd maybe even be able to get a private room with Kim again.
In fact, that thought was what got Elin to stand up again and straighten out her dress, brushing off what dirst and dust had stuck to the fabric. Although, she took her time, partly because her body was still rather tired. She certainly didn't want to go too fast for herself.
Though, as she finished she suddenly remembered that she hadn't done more with her stats the night before other than allocating her attribute points.
"Status," she said softly.

You can learn a new skill or spell. Would you like to choose or see the options?
Elin sighed. She suspected this would happen, given how from her estimation she seemed to be able to get a skill or spell every other level. At least since she started seeing it appear.
At which point she selected to see the list of available skills. While she could remember being more cheerful and excited in the past when she'd learned that she could get more skills or spells, she had to admit that the shine had worn off. She didn't seem to be as excited about it as she had been. Or maybe it was because of the battle the day before. It was rather draining and she wouldn't be surprised if it was emotionally draining as well.

You can learn four skills or spells
Elin was a little surprised at how many were on the list. Some of which she was surprised to see as well, though she worried that it might not mean what she thought it would. Such as Restore Life. She hoped it would allow her to bring back someone who died, but she felt like it couldn't be just that simple.
"Tutorial," Elin said, hoping her voice didn't carry to where Kim or the others could hear.
"Would you please tell me the details of the skills on this list?" Elin asked. "No thanks," Elin replied before yawning. The skills she was looking at were mostly ones that appealed to her. Yet, with only four available choices, she couldn't help but wonder what she should pick. However, she knew that last night had calls too close for comfort. As such, she knew she needed Restore Life, if only as an insurance policy. Then there was Improved MP recovery, so she'd be able to recover her MP faster, partly so she wouldn't have herself try to exceed her available MP again, but also so she'd have an easier time using Restore Life when needed. Which also brought to her mind that she was going to need to increase her MP a lot more than it was currently, just for Restore Life. Just in case she needed it for more than just one person on her team. Then the other options she had a hard time selecting. She really like the Improved MP Consumption, Heal Boost, Sacred Flame, and Summon Ally. Yet, she could only pick two of those skills. Though, she also had to admit she didn't have much time before Kim would come looking for her as well. In the end, she decided on the Improved MP Consumption and Sacred Flame. Just so she'd be using less MP for her spell 'Restore Life' and so she'd have another attack spell. That way she could be more useful in actual combat as well as not being such a burden on the team.
