Elin was worried. Not only was this monster bigger than any living creature she'd seen before, but she wasn't sure if she should use her only attack spell, since it was holy attribute or if she should wait and use her healing magic when someone inevitably got hit by the troll.
The battle really had just started and she was already wondering if any of them would survive. Yes, they've dealt like groups of larger numbers than them before, but given this was the complete opposite of then, that didn't mean they really had the advantage. Especially since this creature was so much stronger than any of them.
However, she knew she had to do something. So, she quickly looked at her status to try and figure out what there was that she could do.

She ignored her stats, since she'd already looked at that earlier that morning and this was thie first fight since then. However, what caught her eye were the spells Physical Resistance Enhancement and Minor Protection. Neither cost that much MP and she could tell that it wouldn't hurt.
The only problem was who to start with? After all, she had to do that individually for each person. Yet, as she looked at those running towards the troll, she realized already knew who she would use it on first. Kim. No question there.
After that, the order of who to cast those spells on fell into place. She knew she needed to start with those who would be fighting directly with the troll before Elmo and Heather. Jonas after Kim, Sonya next, Bart, Michelle, then Elwin, Leon and lastly Owen.
However, she was appalled at herself when she was done. She'd nearly depleted her MP and couldn't say what might happen as a result of that. Though, on the other hand, she may have prevented much more damage than she would have been able to heal with that amount of MP, but she wasn't as convinced as she would have liked about that. Although, she could still observe and heal where she could.
Elin watched as Kim swung her sword with both hands, making a deep cut in the trolls outstretched hand, some greeinsh fluid Elin assumed to be his blood flowing out. The troll swung it's hand at Kim, but she nimbly dodged out of the way. Then before the troll could attack again, Elwin and Leon apparently were using their system, pulling the troll off balance to the point where it fell on its side, raising a cloud of dust where its bulk hit the ground.
Michelle began attacking its eyes, but it seemed almost like she didn't have any effect. Maybe it was the distance, but it didn't look like it did anything to Elin. Bart was swinging his quarterstaff like a small whirlwind. He hit the same place on the troll's left leg to the point that Elin could hear a loud crack, followed by a roar of pain from the troll.
Then Owen did something that Elin couldn't quite follow. It almost seemed like he sent some sort of energy at the troll right before he swung his sword cutting off the part of its other hand, severing a few fingers with it.
For a minute, Elin thought something had happend to Jonas, but then she saw him slide out of the troll's shadow and use his daggers to cut deeply in the calf muscle on the leg that Bart hadn't broken.
At first it seemed like they'd seriously hurt the troll and had it cornered. However, the Troll smashed it's fist down on the ground, sending out what Elin could only describe as a schockwave, throwing all those who were right by it into the air, about ten feet high, before they came crashing down.
Then Elin stared disbelievingly as the troll stood up, it's legs having already regenerated from the damage that had been inflicted on it. As if it had merely tripped and was picking itself back up.
Elin saw Bart continue his assault on the troll's leg, and raised his staff to block the troll's slaps at him whenever the troll came close to hitting him. It almost looked like they were in a stalemate, until as the troll kept looking more and more annoyed, it finally swung its fist at Bart, who moved to block it, but was instead thrown forty feet into the wall, where Elin could cleary see his head splatter against the wall, like an egg falling onto the ground and breaking open there.
By the time Elin could even think to move to see if she could help Bart, Heather was already a quarter of the way there. Even though she knew rhat she shouldn't focus of what she'd just seen, she couldn't help herself. She felt it hard to breath with what she'd just seen.
She could only hope that Bart had somehow survived what happened to him. Although, she couldn't think how that would happen.
When she saw Heather reach Bart, Elin noticed the troll pull Owen's sword out of his hands as if it was pulling a thorn off of a rosebush.
Then suddenly before she barefly even had time to register it, the sword was flung in her direction. At which point she quickly tried to stop running forward, but instead threw herself off balance. Which probably saved her life, since she fell down as the sword soared right through where she would have been standing. Right through where she estimated her heart would have been.
This whole situation was wreaking havoc on Elin's mind. She wasn't ready for this. She was having enough trouble getting through all the other battles, even though she hadn't really been a part of those. Aside from maybe the skeletons.
Then as Elin pulled herself back to her feet, she continued to run towards where Bart was, and she could see that Heather was doing something to him. Which indicated to Elin that Bart was still alive.
However, her steps were unsteady and she nearly lost her balance again a few times, but was able to keep from falling again. On the upside, she wasn't focused so much on having seen Bart's head crack open like an egg and coat the wall with his blood and whatever other fluids came out, but instead, she couldn't get the sword coming straight at her and nearly killing her. If she hadn't fallen when she had, she was certain she would have been skewered herself. That alone was enough to shake her entire world to the core. As a result, she also had no idea what was happening with the troll. Her mind would only let her know about what was directly infront of her. Which was Heather and Bart.
As Elin reached Heather, she saw that Bart was breathing, barely. Heather hand her hand under Bart's head, which looked to Elin like the entire back part of the skull was gone. Somehow Elin knew that if Bart wasn't healed soon, that he wasn't going to make it.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Elin asked, still not sure what exactly Heather was doing to help. Only that she was doing something.
"If you have a spell that can do something to help keep his brain in his head, I think that would be helpful. I'm not sure we can move him from here otherwise," Heather said, her breathing labored.
Elin had the feeling that Heather was either transferring HP to Bart or was going through healing spells that didn't seem to be enough. Which meant that it was up to Elin to do something.
However, she knew that she only had enough MP for one useage of this spell. The only one that she could think of that might be strong enough to do anything was her new spell, Regenerate. After using it, she knew she wouldn't be able to do much, unless she drank an MP potion. Yet, she also could tell that she wasn't concerned about what might happen. While she considered it briefly, she quickly pushed it out of her mind and called out, "Regenerate!"
Eliln felt her MP leave her and enter Bart, which suddenly began to reconstruct his skull, as if it was being put there by unseen hands. Heather's hand was also being pushed away from Bart's head, but it was clear it wasn't casuing any damage by doing so.
As that happened, Elin heard Heather breathe out a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Elin," Heather said, cradling Bart's healing head to her lap.
"I'm just glad he's okay," Elin said.
"He might be alive right now, but I'm not sure if he's really okay," Heather said. "I just hope that my fears won't turn out to be justified."
