Chapter 1 - Before There Was Nothing

Before there was something there was nothing and before nothing there were monsters, being so vile and inhuman that an insane man's mind would melt at the mere thought of them. Among these beings of chaos and disorder seven grew in power and mind surpassing their brothers and sisters gaining powers beyond mortal comprehension, these seven beings are known as syv.

These seven beings disgusted by their brothers and sisters opened a gate to a realm where nothing exists yet all things are welcomed by it, the abyss and its loving embrace. Feeling betrayed by them the chaotic beings they call siblings fought back starting a war that lasted 5 millennia which caused the creation of nothing, the war ended in syv being victorious and those of the eldritch horrors that lived were sucked into the abyss, those that died however became the first bits of something… they became planets and stars forming the first few galaxies in the newly born cosmos.

Seeing what became of their dead siblings syv started on a journey to fill the cosmos with something, they created beings from a small portion of their souls they were called celestials, beings of great power and undying loyalty. These beings along with their masters brought life to the starless sky, they created planets, stars, and galaxies and filled the worlds they created with life abundant and full of vigor. With the syv in charge all was well the mortals partied and played with their creators and joy was all they knew for many years.

Among the syv the youngest of them was loved most by the people, while known as the weakest of the seven his kind and caring nature made him loved by all. One day he found a book that had knowledge beyond even his comprehension. He studied the book for eons thinking it could help him gain power to stand next to his brothers and sisters… unfortunately the young god did not know what dark arts he had got himself into.

One day when they called a meeting to discuss the mortals the young god decided to show off his new powers to his siblings, opening a portal to the place they all knew quite well it was the place they had sent their brothers and sisters, a chilling laugh was heard through the room, it was melodic and sweet yet full of malice and hatred a hand made of what seemed to be of the void covered in ruins and symbols reached through the portal grabbing the young deity by the neck seemingly transferring ruins to the boy's face causing him immense pain as his cries and shouts of anguish echoed throughout the hall.

"Ignorant fool I must thank you, boy, without you I would have not gotten this far" The voice spoke with just as much hate as last time yet with a hint of amusement coloring its tone.

Acting on instinct the youngest of the syv canceled the technique but the portal did not close, seeing that the rest of the syv stepped in but it was far too late, with another cry of pain the young god's soul became visible and was shattered.

The remaining syv just looked on in horror as the hand dropped the young god to the floor the voice's mocking laughter was heard throughout the room and spoke once more before the portal closed.

"One down... Six to go" It's melodic and sinister voice for the final time.

rushing to their youngest brother they watched as he gave them a soft smile before closing his eyes and fading away. looking on with eyes filled with sadness and regret another cry filled with pure sadness was the only thing heard throughout all existence.

"Akira?" The voice of a young woman called out unclearly

.

.

.

"Akira!?" the voice of the woman became clearer

.

.

.

"AKIRA!" The woman cried for a final time

Startled awake black and green eyes shot open only to stare into a pair of gray eyes that seemed to let off ethereal shine.

"It's about time you woke up sleepy head," said the woman before backing away and smiling.

getting up with a yawn and pops of his joints Akira turns his head to look at his companion, a blonde woman with shoulder-length hair, around 5'6 with a live and lean figure and ampul bust around her late teens, pale skin with a light complexion and what seems to be elongated ears signifying her race as an elf. She wore a long-sleeved white shirt with golden accents going from hand to shoulder with a small black waist cape, long gray loose pants, and combat stilettos.

giving the woman a half wave Akira stood up and looked around trying to figure out what happened and where he was. Akira is a male of 5'8 around his mid-teens, he has black shoulder-length hair with bangs in his eyes, he has light skin with an athlete's physique with lean but compact and strong muscles, and he has no distinct features signifying he is human. He has on a Black jacket with matching black gloves a white undershirt, long blue pants, and badge hiking boots.

"Morning Flame princess where are the other" The boy said with a lack of care or enthusiasm while not looking at the now fuming woman.

Before anything else could happen they heard a loud voice call out to them, looking over the hill they saw their other companion looking for them. without a second thought, Akira started walking towards him with a faint smile on his face while the young elf followed staring a hole into the back of his head with a frown on her face.

looking at his two friends walking towards him the man who shouted could not help but smile.

"This dungeon doesn't know what's about to hit 'em!" He thought as his excitement grew and his smile broadened.
