-Two months later, East Blue, Goa Sea-
Sitting on a Folding Beach Chair, underneath an umbrella, in the sunny sky, a black-haired 19-year-old boy with a pair of white horns, wearing a lab coat. Was resting on the front deck of a 1.4-kilometer-long metal ship replica of the Bebop (Cowboy Bebop) and was drinking orange juice, that a robot maid with an M801 tattoo on her neck brought for him.
"Stein's Journal, #7. It's been two months since I fragmented from my original soul and was thrown into the One Peace World. My soul merger made me a brilliant though eccentric hedonistic scientist whose greatest pleasure is dissection and observation of everything. I see everything in the world (me included), as experimental subjects."
"I have shown to have little empathy even towards friends, having no qualms about secretly experimenting on them. Also, I have developed a twisted and sadistic sense of humor, often riling up others for my own amusement. Being self-aware of his behavior coming off as suspicious and creepy, he enjoys playing it up to them."
"But the upside is I became exceptionally skilled in hand-to-hand combat and was an expert Black Belt in Karate, Aikido, Judo, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Shotokan, Taekwondo and Flexibility & Stretching Techniques."
"After some time, I convinced myself to leave the island where I set my lab, and decided that I needed to have an adventure, so I threw myself to East Blue, with one of my ship creations the Bebop, and a few dozen of robots for service and maintenance."
As Stein began speaking, the maid started tipping on a table, recording everything he said.
"I set up shop near the Goa Sea on East Blue and been experimenting with anything I could get my hands on... Three days ago, I was attacked by pirates... Subjects we're administered various dosages of different experimental chemicals compounds, corresponding with their body size."
"Note! Next time I procure experimental subjects, make sure not to give them more than 20 dosages of different chems. All 19 Priso-Test subjects expired after two dozen dosages. End of journal entry #7."
Sometime later, two XC1 models (a merger of a B1 battle droid and Assaultron) brought a barrel onto the deck.
Approaching the barrel, he knocked the lid 3 times and the lid of the barrel erupted instantly.
Boom!
"I slept so well!"
Erupting from the barrel a straw-hatted boy was taking his surroundings, unexpectedly he noticed he was in a strange ship, with strange people.
"Thought I was going to die in the sea, hahaha!"
'Could this be a stroke of luck from the universe?'
"Ha! Horny guy, you saved me, right?"
Luffy grinned and pointed his thumb at himself.
"Since you've saved me, do you want to join my crew? I'm Luffy, Monkey D. Luffy! The man who's going to be King of the Pirates- Ow!"
Stein skillfully manipulated a syringe injecting Luffy with a sedative on his shoulder.
"Hey! What did you just... just..."
Luffy's eyelids started growing heavy, and his eyes soon closed. Luffy suddenly slumped, fast asleep making Stein grow a maddening grin, starting his journal again.
"Stein's Journal, #8. Starting devil fruit user experiment with volunteer subject Luffy. After carefully dissecting test subject Luffy, I have discovered a new symbiotic organism attached to the subject's heart. Trying to separate the organism from the test subject's heart will result in subject's death."
Soon Luffy began to wake up.
"What...? Where is...?"
Luffy blinked awake and then glared at Stein.
"Horny guy! Tell me what you did to me!? Why can't I move my body!?"
"To answer your first question. I injected you with a sedative, knocking you out for around 4 hours, allowing me to take your body and see the differences between a regular body and a devil fruit user. After I was done, I stitched you back together."
"And to your second question! Before you fully woke up, I injected you with an experimental substance that I extracted from a fish from the Coral Sea floor level. It paralyzes you but does Nothing to your nerves! Leaving you motionless but feeling everything that happens to you. This will allow me to proceed with my next rounds of tests, getting feedback from you!"
"Now shall we proceed with the experimentation!?"
"Wait-wait-wait! Horny guy, I didn't agree to any of this!"
Luffy started panicking, not knowing what was going to happen to him.
"Your consent was never needed! Be proud, your body is being used for a greater cause, Science! And also, my curiosity and how devil fruit users are different from regular humans."
With that said Stein began his hours-long experimental tests on Luffy. At the end of those procedures, he removed the symbiotic organism attached to the subject's heart Insulting the subject's Expiration. but gaining the devil's fruit.
