Chapter 22 - Tedious Travel

As Gore and Alice walked up the long tunnel, Alice lit up the passageway with a purple Magic flame that flickered but did not burn her. The two also talked because they were both curious about each other. "So, what is your name?"

Gore turned to Alice. "It's Gore, and you said your name was Alice? What sort of spells can you do Alice?"

Alice smiled. "Well, I can do all sorts of Magic. I can make this light here. I can make bolts of lightning… I can do a lot more as well. The only thing is that higher attack spells have a long cooldown time."

Gore nodded. "I can do one spell."

Her eyes widened. "An Aura knight with Magic?"

Gore pointed his ring finger back down the tunnel, and he charged his ring with Mana to fire the Common Fireball. The fireball was much smaller than the Rare one he had been able to shoot with his Ascendant weapon, but it still slammed down against the roof and began to collapse the tunnel… The cast magic had weakened the Magic in the stone blocks to the point that they began to fall one by one, causing a chain reaction further up the tunnel…

Alice began to speak, in awe of Gore's spell. "Wow that's re-"

Gore grabbed her by the arm. "RUN!"

As the whole tunnel began to collapse, Gore grabbed Alice and amped his muscles with Mana as he blasted up the tunnel at full speed. Within eight seconds, they were outside of the tunnel… The only problem was that there were a shitload of Aura knights waiting outside of the tunnel.

The foremost knight covered his sword in Aura and threateningly stepped towards Gore as he yelled. "Put your hands on your head and explain yourself! We have come from a nearby city! If you try to run or resist, you will become an outlaw in the kingdom of Alios."

Gore set his teeth down hard as he softly set Alice down behind him. Gore then wordlessly slipped the ring off his finger and transformed it into a massive sword. The sword was even larger than the first one that he had, but the design was more rugged and looked as if it had been carved from a mountain and would break if swung once… It looked like a fat lump of stone.

The Aura knight was surprised by what he thought was Magic, but a second later, he rushed toward Gore with his blade swinging up towards Gore's monstrously high and fat neck. Gore responded even faster with his massive blade which blurred through the air and created several sonic booms at the tip before completely smashing the knight's body from existence… Gore had become much stronger, and he had gained a weapon that was nearly as good as his last.

The other knights also tried to stop Gore, but his supersonic blade turned them all into blood pies. Their only option in front of Gore was death, and he gave them all a quick one. After their bodies were all mutilated on the ground, Gore turned back towards Alice, who was cowering away from him with a horrified expression.

Alice sniffed. "Why do you want to take me with you? What use am I?"

Gore grinned. "I'm heading to Dragonia on a ship, and having a mage sail with me will be useful if I need to fill the sails with wind and my sailors with courage… You can do that right, create wind?"

Alice slowly nodded. "I can do that… Are you trying to kill a few dragons for their treasure, or what?"

Gore stepped through all of the guts and blood towards Alice with his massive bare chest glistening red and white in the sunlight. "Yeah, I want their Mana stones because I can consume them. That is how I am so powerful."

Alice's face turned red as she looked at Gore's chest in the light, but at the same time, she was horrified by all the blood still, and as he approached her, she instinctively tried to scramble away.

Gore blinked as he offered Alice a bloody hand. "We need to start heading towards Dartmouth, and the fastest way to get there is on my back… You are too slow, unless you can fly on a broom or some shit."

Alice took Gore's hand after settling down. "Fine then, I'll ride on your back."

After Alice got hoisted up, Gore set off at a mad dash. Along the way towards the city, Gore stopped by a river, and he bathed it until all the blood stains that covered him were gone.

Alice peeked a few times at the naked form of Gore while he was wringing out his makeshift pants, but he caught her staring and she squealed. "AAhhh"

Gore walked up from the river, still with no clothes on. He stared at Alice. "Are you looking at my dick?"

Alice turned back towards Gore. His dick was much too massive. He was a giant after all. Instead of looking down towards the area of his legs, she looked up to his face. "I did look, but please don't do anything. I didn't mean anything by it."

Gore sniffed and then slipped his pants back on. "Let's go. We don't need to be wasting time right now. Fucking Eris could slip from a portal and kill you at any time… I don't want to make any connections right now."

"Eris?"

"She is the god of this world, and she hates me for some reason. Come on, let's go."

Alice was lost in thought as Gore picked her up and then he set off at a dead run again. Her thoughts went along like this: 'Haaha, this dumbfuck doesn't even realize that I am Eris! I just disguised myself as a mage so I could travel with him… Honestly though, I want to make this guy make a move on me sometime and then surprise him and be like: Hey stupid asshole, you just pleasured the one who killed all your friends!! Haha, I can't wait to make this asshole suffer for trying to ruin my world.'
