Morell's eyes open, the comfort of a bed beneath her, as she sat up, examining her new surroundings, a small room. She looked over her shoulder, her back cealed with bandaging. All was fine, until she looked to her right.
Right besides Morell laid a second bed, Reece sitting upon it as they stared into one another's eyes, the silent moment lasting a few seconds, before they both pounched towards eachother.
Morell swung her knife towards Reece, Reece swinging her arm, in the form of a monstrous blade to Morell, their attacks inches away from colliding, as suddenly sparks fly, and the two's attacks are parried back.
A sword was now in between the two, as they both looked towards the weilder, a young man looking down at the two of them.
"Eh..!? What the hell!? Who are you, and where am I!?"
Reece lashed out at the man, before looking towards Morell, pointing to her.
"And why is she here.."
Morell stuck her tongue out at Reece, Reece swatting her hands at her as the man got in between them, holding their hands still
"You're both dumbasses.. What do you guys gain from tearing eachother apart in the middle of the street? You're lucky I even wasted my time saving you two."
He itches the back of his head, before sheathing his sword into oddly, a flute. He crossed his arms, his blue eyes shining as the two girls stood up across from him.
"I'm Aku, I'm assuming your name's Morell from your nametag, but I don't know your name."
He looked back forth from the two of them, Morell about to speak, though she's interupted by Reece, walking up in front of her to face Aku.
"I'm Reece..!"
She then leaned in close to Holding her hand to his ear as she whispered
"Don't believe the stupid doll over there.. She's clearly an imposter..!"
Reece was met by Morell bonking her in the head, as she crouched down, holding her head in pain. Morell then looked Aku in the eye, politely bowing before speaking.
"I thank you're hospitality, but, I have many questions about this world.. Why have I suddenly woken up here, as a doll? Why do I have.. odd abilities, and why do those faceless people listen to my commands..?"
Morell closened in, awaiting an answer patiently as Aku examined Morell thoroughly, her doll body, the way she dressed, a blank expression on his face as he stroked his chin.
"Well, you've likely died, your spirit just happening to end up in a doll. I don't know what your abilities are, but I'm sure you've already seen enough oddities to realize abilities aren't anything special."
He crouched down, grabbing her nametag, reading it once more, his expression changing every so slightly.
"I really, really doubt it, but you may be royalty, or it's a coincident and they just found a new interest. It wouldn't make sense, your whole family tree is dead, assuming you are royalty."
He stood back up straight, lifting Reece by her collar as she struggled around, swatting at Aku like a cat.
"Put me the fuck down, you piece of shit..!"
He began walking outside, Morell following from asie him as she looked up at him
"You assume I'm royalty..? Reece had a similar claim before attacking me."
She glared down at Reece, Reece glaring back as she got free of Aku's grasp, using her mere inch of height advantage to assert dominance over Morell.
"Shut your mouth! You're a fake, and I know it! I'm only keeping you around to prove this!"
Morell yelled, poking Morell hard in the chest, as a subtle growl could be heard from her. Aku had to intervine once more, seperating them yet again, as he held his hands on their backs, leading them from each side of him.
"I don't get why you two are so pissy with eachother, but you better cut it out."
Reece scoffed, looking down to her feet as she kicked a pebble along with her. Morell looked back up to Aku, continuing to ask questions.
"Why is this city so, dysfunctional..? Those faceless civilians, they attacked me for no reason, but they themself seemed rather confused on why.."
Aku sighed, taking glances around as he stopped in place, lowering closer to Morell as he spoke in a quiet voice.
"This world was always bad, but it used to be, atleast functional. A few years back a new ruler took the throne, problem is she's lazy, and doesn't do anything.. All she does is execute those who call her out for her flaws, so I suggest not talking much about her.."
Reece looked at the two, a smug expression on her face, as she placed her hands on her waist.
"You talking about Uvie? She's such a loser! She couldn't even keep the city stable for a month! I bet she's some fatass sitting on her couch cocered in chips!"
Reece yelled out, laughing afterwards as Aku quickly covered her mouth with his hand, seeming pissed as he looked around, before grabbing the two of them by the wrist, leading them into a building.
"Are you fucking crazy!?"
He leashed out at Reece, shaking her by her shoulders, Morell bystanding as she looked out the window.
"What are you so mad about? Nothing even happened! What'd you expect, Uvie's fatass to roll all the way here to kill is?"
She returned to laughing as Aku scolded her. On the other side of the room, Morell kept staring outside, feeling that something was wrong, as she placed her ear to the window, listening for a subtle sound.
Suddenly, Morell was knocked across the room, crashing into a shelf as the glass completely shattered, a tall, absurdly muscular man walking in, cracking his knuckles as he grinned at them all.
"Heard some scummy brat talking shit, huh?"
Two other men followed in afterwards, one brandishing gloves, with huge claws connected to them, the other having a cannon of monstrous flesh formed over his hand.
Aku and Reece quickly readied themself, Aku unsheathing his blade, as Reece formed her monstrous mass into a blade at her hand. Morell, after a few seconds, got herself back up, taking out her knife as she held it in front of her.
The muscular man laughed maniacly, dashing forth at quick speeds as he threw a powerful punch towards Morell. Morell managed to duck the blow, slicing her knife down his arm as she ran behind him.
His punch collided with the wall, the air blown from his punch alone knocking the wall down, as well as multiple walls behind it.
Reece, distracted by the destruction, was taken offguard as she was shot at, the cannon-armed man shooting out red blasts from his hand towards herr. Reece quickly formed her mass into a shield-like shape, blocking the blasts as she rammed into the man, pinning him to the wall.
She formed spikes out from the front of the shield, piercing the man, but he quickly charged up his next blast, the shot launching Reece back, though she quickly landed, forming her mass into her chainsaw-like weapon she had used before.
Aku was fully ready to take on his fight, the clawed man forming an X shape with hid arms, running at Aku to slice at him, but Aku parried the sword, the two beginning to clash blows, as sparks flew the air.
Aku positioned his sword in a way to lock the man's claws in place, holding his flute to his mouth as he played a note, facing the front hole towards the man, as a blue beam shot at him.
The clawed man managed to free his claws just in time, blocking the beam as it was reflected into more beams, the two beginning to reflect the beams back at one another.
Morell was having more issues with her opponent, her slices only scratching the muscular man, as she had to keep on dodging his superhuman punches, ducking and side-stepping them. She eventually made the horrible mistake of back-stepping a punch, as the man's attack launched the air towards Morel, sending her flying back to outside.
"Hahahah! You don't stand a single chance, just stay still so I can hitchya!"
The man said as he walked out towards her menacingly, ripping a streetlight out from the ground as he swung it towards Morell. Morell tried to jump over, but was too late as the pole was swung right at her stomach, launching her flying through the city.
The man positioned himself, before racing after her at breakneck speeds, catching her face in his palm as he dragged Morell, breaking through the roads before flinging her into another wall.
Morell stood was encraved into the wall, her hands broken off as her black blood poured out, many cracks throughout her body, which was clear from the few black stained areas on her clothing. She pulled herself out from the wall, looking at her wrists, before slowly turning her face to look up at the man.
"Sorry, kid! Just doing my job.."
He took a deep lunge forwards, clenching his right fist as he held it in his left, his arms flexing hugely as his veins were popping out. He took a step forth, throwing an absurdly powerful punch forth, but before the hit could land, he was suddenly interrupted by an uppercut to the chin, sending him back a few steps.
Morell had rings of her blood formed around her wrists, portals formed in between them, as she began throwing a combo of punches, giant demonic fists coming out of the portals to her assistance. The man was taken by surprise, taking a few hits before he began blocking them, his grin growing as he began throwing punched back.
Aku and Reece had finished their fights already, rushing over to help, only to stop in witness of the fight, both the man and Morell fighting on equal ground, the two's eyes widened, as Reece began cheering Morell on.
"Seems you're more then some scrawny doll. Huh, kid?"
The man slammed his fist into the ground, chunks of the road being thrown up, as he grabbed onto one, sending it down upon Her. Morell held her hand in the way, trying to pushing it back up, before punxhing it with her other hand, the chunk flying into the man's face.
The man stumbled back, as Morell grabbed him by his leg, slamming him into the ground continuously, before throwing him up, Morell looked up at the man, as he suddenly rushed down faster then expected, stomping on top of her chest, as he began barraging her with punches, which she blocked behind her arms, but she had no room to counter.
The man's maniacle laugh returned, his punxhes becoming more agressive as Morell's defense weakened. Reece attempted to rush in to help, only to be held back by Aku.
"Just wait.. look at Morell."
Reece looked at Aku in confusion, before looking towards Morell. Morell's typically empty eyes consisted of a purple light in the centers, her facial expression calm and collected, as she managingly pushed the man back, getting back up as she held her hands out, small black orbs forming in her hands, as a buzzing sound was repetitively heard, getting louder and faster by each second.
"What's she doing..? She's just standing there, she's wide open to his attacks..!"
Reece said, confused, though Aku, as well as the man were both completely frightened from the sight. The buzzing sound was going so fast to the point of constant sound, as it was insanely loud, Aku and Reece covering there ears. The orbs in Morell's hands grew quite large, as light itself became denser around it, more visible as a yellow glow. The light circled around the orbs, as they began pulling everything near towards it, as everyone took a strong stance. Morell had formed black holes.
"Wh-What the hell..!? You're joking? Right..!?!?!"
The man was too shocked to do anything, his eyes wide open, as Morell slowly moved her arms closer to one another, the black holes fusing together, as huge static noises were heard, and energy was shot around. Once the two were fused together, Morell concealed it in her hand, before slamming her palm into the man's chest, a white light blinding everyone.
Once the light had cleared, Aku and Reece unxovered there eyes and ears, witnessing the aftermath. Morell stood, her portals disappearing, as she stared straight, surprised herself. The man was no more, not a hint of existence left, as he was destroyed to the mere quark.
"Morell..-"
Both Aku and Reece said, having no words in response as they walked to her, Aku holding her wrists up to stop the blood from pouring out, as Reece looked Morell in the eyes, a form of acceptance written on her face, placing her hand on Morell's shoulder, as she then spoke.
"There's some things I need to explain.."
